I remember these came out when I was a senior in high school, and I remember when some of these came out like the Nitro. My uncle had one of those Chargers. I noticed though, in one of the commercials it shows an 07 Grand Caravan, but the other commercial doesn't. Maybe because they were changing to the 2008 Grand Caravan then. Some of these cars weren't very good though, like the late Dakotas like we talked about. www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7Q36BT7mhUwww.youtube.com/watch?v=CY-3B9MoKlE

Thanks for the suggestions, all. I might look into this more when I have time. I just don't have the patience or time to learn editing right now, but maybe someday.

I went to Walmart last night and I notice they're remodeling the store. They've moved some of the shelves around, and they're redoing the floors. In the clothes departments they've replaced the old light "wood" floors with new darker "wood" strip floors that have a texture to them. In the grocery department, they took out all of the white vinyl tile floors and did polished concrete floors instead. The green aisle signs are still up but all of the department signage has been removed and the green/yellow etc walls have been repainted in white. I think we're going to get the white walls with black and white signage.
But I don't know if the lights or speakers are being replaced. My Walmart was originally just a regular Walmart, so it has the dropped ceiling over the main store except for the garden center which is open. And the grocery section was an addition so it has the open ceilings with skylights. I assume they are keeping the dropped ceiling though as it would probably be too intensive to remove it and paint without closing the store.
Also there are still those spinner fans with three blades and switch housings over the registers in the garden center, but I don't know if they will be removed or not. There used to be two more at each entrance in the main store, but they were taken down a long time ago.

I see, I'm the same and I have an Android also. My computer is Windows though. I know absolutely nothing about video editing.

Very nice! I remember you wanted one of these. It sounds more powerful than my W-25. The low on yours sounds like medium on mine, etc.

Is there a simple video editing software out there? I mostly use my phone to take videos, but I'd like to be able to add text, edit scenes, music, etc. I don't have any way to do this currently, I just upload straight from phone to YouTube.

Regarding the fans at thrift stores, my Habitat Restore used to use older fans around the store, mostly box fans, pedestal fans and desk fans. And they too tended to disappear later, so I never knew what they did with them. Now they don't really have any portables around except maybe in the back room.

I see, I have seen things on clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond but not any fans.

I remember the Lakewood models on roll around stands. Our local furniture store used to show them in their ads, as well as the window fan version. What's interesting is that the Dayton badged S-223s still used the first generation fat blades even in the 90s.

Nice fan, I have seen some Lakewood S223 fans that were rebadged as Dayton, but I don't think I've seen an HV relabel. I remember my aunt and uncle used to have a Lakewood version of that in the early 90s. These are really good fans.

That's a really cool fan, especially with 5 blades. I would have thought Lasko too, odd.

I went to Lowes and found the oil. It was up front near the power tools.

I have a fan very similar to that but yours in in a lot better shape. The oscillator is bound up on mine. Also, mine has a weird brass like finish on the grilles that has turned green.
These are very quiet fans though, and yours looks to be in great condition.

I used to make up fantasy ceiling fans for certain places.
I made up a hotel, and it was a very old one from the 20s. For the ceiling fans, I picked Hunter Originals from 1993, since I imagined the hotel was last renovated/restored in 1993. So white Originals in the lobby and dining room. In the kitchen I imagined a white Fasco Great Room, plus Fasco Great Rooms or Charlestons in the hotel rooms! Plus in the old attic area, was a Lasko Contemporary and an old heavy GE vent motor fan as those rooms had been last updated in the 80s.
Plus of course there could be antique portable fans here and there. Oh, and GE box fans everywhere too, as I imagined they bought a bunch of them in the 60s or 70s to use in the hotel!
Now for real fans in old hotels. There's an old hotel in my town from 1916. Unfortunately it closed down in 2016. But in one of the rooms, which was like a sunporch, there were Hunter Comfort Breezes in brown from the 80s. They may still be there. Plus my friend said there was a 6 bladed small ceiling fan somewhere in the building. They said they might give it to me but I never heard back about it. It sounded like one of those little hotel fans.
