I went to CVS and they had a white version of the knob on front grille box fan, with the brand House to Home. No Lasko boxers like they used to have though.

Pretty cool car. I very rarely saw the 90s Tercels here and most if not all were 2 door. It sure looks clean, and 99 had to have been about the last year they were offered.

As I was driving home tonight I seen a Lasko/Galaxy cheapo pedestal fan near my house. It was lying on top of some stuff someone had put out for trash, missing the front grille.

I have a Vortalex similar to that, but mine is black and needs to be restored. It needs a paint job and a badge. These are neat little fans though!!

At Walmart I noticed they've redone the checkout lanes in the garden center and they now have blue clip-on fans at each one. There is also a 16" white Galaxy pedestal fan near the door that leads out to the greenhouse, it's pointed over at the checkout lanes.

I had a look at the fans today at Walgreens. They mostly had Aerospeeds. I saw mainly a tower fan, 16" pedestal fan, an Aerospeed Cool Operator style and box fan. The fans were on clearance and the box fan was $10. Kind of interesting seeing something other than Lasko and Lakewoods, I hardly ever see Aerospeeds but then I don't go to dollar stores often that might have them.
Being fans were on clearance at Walgreeens I may check CVS to see if the Chillout Turbo Fans might be marked down but I doubt it.

Walmart has had a pretty dismal selection of fans this year. They pretty much only have the 16" Lasko pedestals, small Honeywell HVs, and 20" Lasko box fans in black, purple or white maybe a few personal fans. Not as big of a selection as in years past. They did have a small fan that looked like an HV-4 but has three plastic blades and shows the time and temperature as the blades spin, I thought about getting one because it was unique. Awhile back they also had a retro looking oscillator, cheap but looked neat, but they only had one in stock...
Our Walmart is remodeling and I went yesterday and they've moved the fan aisle near automotive, and it's only half an aisle now, with air conditioners taking the rest. Those Feature Comforts box fans aren't there, not even any Holmes or Laskos other than the cheapy ones. There's none on display this year either. I do remember seeing another fan section at the front of the store with the summer items, maybe there's more selection up there.

Nice catalogs! Thanks for posting, I see a lot of familiar fans there, neat to see the prices. In a way it's a good thing we live in this day and age, we couldn't have afforded to collect fans back then!
I remember seeing some 70s and late 60s Grainger catalogs at the DT site.

I don't remember, I thought I just copied the img links from it and posted. I don't remember there being a supported software unless something changed. I haven't messed with it since February though. Photobucket seems to be working again, but I haven't tried uploading anything new to it, but my pictures from a couple years ago and some from 2008 are appearing on the forum again.

Thanks Duane, these are old photos. I should get some newer ones of my fan displays.
Jordan, I'm guessing so, I found another thread here from 2008 where they are working too. I don't know if new uploads would work because I haven't uploaded anything in a year or two since they had stopped allowing forum linking.

Cool these pics are working too. I was originally on this forum as Fanman, if you didn't know. I still have this fan hanging in my room, love it.

Are the older Dodge Ram trucks any good? I saw a 2006 Dodge Ram Megacab for sale. Awesome looking truck. It has the 5.7 Hemi too. Were these trucks any good? I know it was built during Chrysler's "cheapening" era when Daimler owned them before the bailout. Don't see many Megacabs around here, especially that generation. It's pretty nice for an 06, has heated power seats, leather, nav, DVD, sunroof and even Uconnect on it. I bet it loves the gas though.

My Home Depot doesn't have a walk under display, it has the fan displays between two aisles, but they do have some fans on display at the endcaps in lighting too. Lowes has a walk under display though. My Walmart still sells ceiling fans but not on display. I'm sure I've said this lots of times, but originally my Walmart had beige Lasko 42" close mounts in the snack bar area. The garden center had two white HRS 36" industrials on short downrods in the garden center indoors with a variable speed control next to the door. I don't know how they did anything being high up with no ceiling in the garden center. Later they added another industrial on a long downrod over the 2nd register in the garden center and moved the front existing one to a longer downrod, the one to the rear on a short downrod remained as it was. Then those were all removed and replaced with some kind of industrials with switch housings that are grayish color. Still there, and I keep hoping to sneak a photo. There also were two of these at each entry area in the main store but they got removed. At one time there was a Hampton Bay industrial over the fabric counter run from a 5 speed slider on a column, but it got removed when the fabric counter was done away with. The electronics dept also had two white industrials of some kind over the photo counter but they got removed.
The original Walmart in my hometown had 52" industrials over the registers, I seem to remember them being black. At the entrance it had two brown 36" Lagunas someone mentioned. I remember going in another Walmart that got converted to a Bealls Outlet and those Lagunas had been replaced with some kind of small antique brass fans, I want to say SMC.
My Kmart did have a fan display at one time but was long removed. It also had the white Hunter Original 42" in the snack bar/Little Caesars. They were removed when the snack bar closed several years before the store closed. I was hoping the snack bar fixtures and fans had been stored away and would show up during the store closing sale, but no such luck.
