What ceiling fans do these kinds of stores have installed in the store in your area? My Home Depot used to have a Hampton Bay Quick Connect hanging on a really long downrod over the kitchen cabinet showroom area, but they removed it. I don't think they have any fans at all installed and neither does Lowes.
My old Ace had two white Emerson Casablanca Classics 52", later one was removed. But since they moved to a new building after 2005 they don't have fans installed.
I heard of some Home Depots having white Fasco American Spirits installed. That would be cool to see. I doubt any do now though.

I doubt any do now though. Yeah, not really many establishments of that type with fans outside of what they sell. The Home Depot local to me has no fans whatsoever, and neither does my local Lowe's, even though most other Home Depot stores I go to have Dayton/Marley/Leading Edge 56" industrials scattered about in the store, and a Home Depot in the town next to where I live has similar Dayton/Marley industrials, just in 48" and 36" diameter, and exclusively in the garden area outside. ACE hardware stores are pretty non-existent around here. Neither the Tractor Supply nor the Harbor Freight stores in my general area have fans either. Idk if I can really count Walmart, since they sell pretty much everything, but my local Walmart has a total of 4 Envirofan Silver Lines, each 56".

We used to have a furniture store that also Ace Hardware store that sold Hunter Prestige. In addition to a working(!!!) walk-under fan display, they had a bright brass Hunter Prestige Architect Plus Series in the middle of the store on display, 4 Hunter Prestige fans (a white Captiva, a black Tropical Original, a white Belle Meade, and something else as well) on display upstairs in their furniture section to advertise that they sold Hunter Prestige fans in the Ace Hardware downstairs. Out in the garden center, they had a bronze Hunter Prestige Lugano on a Hunter sloped ceiling adapter. While fans on the aforementioned working display changed from time to time, permanent Hunter Prestige installations included an antique brass Jackson Square, a white 42" Original, a white 42" Low Profile III, and a white Sea Air. Unfortunately, they closed the Ace Hardware to focus solely on furniture and add a women's store in 2015, and moved everything downstairs, so the fans no longer exist. The upstairs (where the furniture store used to be) turned into a Trader Joe's, so of course the fans no longer exist. Here is an actual picture (NOT taken by me) of the display in its final days, notice the '40% Off Final Sale' tags on the shelves (try to hold back the tears): www.flickr.com/photos/baltimore_retail/16123211163/in/photolist-qyKEXn-rbRKKV-rdXNAG-odzR72-osxkVJMy local Home Depot has 56" Daytons from the 1990s installed throughout the store, but none in the garden centre. And of course let's not forget their ceiling fan display, which is a walk-under display. They used to have fans hanging on display (unpowered, of course) in the light bulb section, but they don't do that anymore. My local Lowe's has no ceiling fans installed inside of the store save for their walk-under ceiling fan display. They also have some ceiling fans installed on the end caps at the end of the ceiling fan aisle. My local Walmart Supercenter doesn't sell (ceiling) fans, but has 2 newer 48" Dayton industrials, and a 48" Leading Edge industrial over the produce section. There are also 3 or 4 nickel 52" Kichler Sterling Manor Builderfans installed in the Subway at the front of the store. The store itself was built in 2011, and while the Daytons and Kichlers were in the store when it opened, the Leading Edge was (oddly) added shortly thereafter. My local Target used to sell ceiling fans back in the late 90s and early 00s, but never had a display (that I know of, at least). I'll add more as I think of them.

My Home Depot doesn't have a walk under display, it has the fan displays between two aisles, but they do have some fans on display at the endcaps in lighting too. Lowes has a walk under display though. My Walmart still sells ceiling fans but not on display. I'm sure I've said this lots of times, but originally my Walmart had beige Lasko 42" close mounts in the snack bar area. The garden center had two white HRS 36" industrials on short downrods in the garden center indoors with a variable speed control next to the door. I don't know how they did anything being high up with no ceiling in the garden center. Later they added another industrial on a long downrod over the 2nd register in the garden center and moved the front existing one to a longer downrod, the one to the rear on a short downrod remained as it was. Then those were all removed and replaced with some kind of industrials with switch housings that are grayish color. Still there, and I keep hoping to sneak a photo. There also were two of these at each entry area in the main store but they got removed. At one time there was a Hampton Bay industrial over the fabric counter run from a 5 speed slider on a column, but it got removed when the fabric counter was done away with. The electronics dept also had two white industrials of some kind over the photo counter but they got removed.
The original Walmart in my hometown had 52" industrials over the registers, I seem to remember them being black. At the entrance it had two brown 36" Lagunas someone mentioned. I remember going in another Walmart that got converted to a Bealls Outlet and those Lagunas had been replaced with some kind of small antique brass fans, I want to say SMC.
My Kmart did have a fan display at one time but was long removed. It also had the white Hunter Original 42" in the snack bar/Little Caesars. They were removed when the snack bar closed several years before the store closed. I was hoping the snack bar fixtures and fans had been stored away and would show up during the store closing sale, but no such luck.

I noticed the newer Tractor Supply stores do not have fans. Since the one in my town opened around 2000 and has 56" industrials of some kind, but the one in the town south of me opened recently, and it doesn't have any ceiling fans.

We've had several build the last few years. No fans in the store. I do see Tractor Supply is now selling some Hunter models online. However it does appear that Hunter anymore will be a dealer to any and everyone.

I bet they will be expensive, I have noticed that most of Tractor Supply's electrical department is very expensive. But I don't think they sell as much volume of it as other places. Tractor Supply would be the last place I would think of to buy outlets or ceiling fans. LOL
