What ceiling fans do these kinds of stores have installed in the store in your area? My Home Depot used to have a Hampton Bay Quick Connect hanging on a really long downrod over the kitchen cabinet showroom area, but they removed it. I don't think they have any fans at all installed and neither does Lowes.
My old Ace had two white Emerson Casablanca Classics 52", later one was removed. But since they moved to a new building after 2005 they don't have fans installed.
I heard of some Home Depots having white Fasco American Spirits installed. That would be cool to see. I doubt any do now though.

I've seen some of those Seabreezes at the AFCA meet I go too. They were older ones though and plastic was yellowed.
I like those greenhouse fans too.

I forgot we used to have a Bissell one as well, but it was the upright type that is common these days. It had a hose and a few attachments too. My grandma gave it to us when they had their carpets taken out a few years ago. I don't think she had it for more than a few years. It seemed to work well but we only used it once or twice on the carpet.
I want to get a few attachments for one I just got. It only came with the carpet cleaning attachment but I want to get the motorized attachment for it, squeegee and some of the regular vacuuming attachments so I can use it to clean my car, etc. Plus there's also a regular motorized nozzle for dry vacuuming. I've seen some of these attachments on eBay but not wanting to paying $50 for each with shipping. I only paid $5 for the whole machine.

What kind of lawn mower do you have? We have a Craftsman rider 4500 with the Briggs and Stratton. We bought it in 2007 but it may be a 2006 because I seem to recall it was a leftover model. Anyhow, it still runs great. Before we had a 1993 Craftsman also Briggs and Stratton and a 1991 Murray both riders.

These boxes are on the ground, but I guess some are on poles in some places.

Tom Frampton, who started out working for Burton A. Burton, ran the Casablanca Fan Company's Specialty Fan Division, and then branched out to create Fanimation in 1984. Some of his earliest designs, the Punkah and the Palisades, are still being manufactured today. I did not know Fanimation had been around that long, I thought they came out in 1996 or something, that's interesting.

Were you thinking of Ron Rezek on Modern Fan Co? He's the founder and designed a lot of them, right? Turns out I was actually thinking of Guto Indio da Costa, who designed the IC/Air series (one of my favorite new ceiling fans). Interesting tidbits about Fasco and Lasko! I think so, I remember seeing some of those in a Sears catalog and he was noted as the designer.

I don't know why I said router, I meant the modem itself, which is a router also but yeah. I have that and the separate wireless router. Its funny because Comcast goes off whenever there's a power outage but if we were still on land line we'd probably still have service. There's one of those gray battery box things down the street that says 'Alpha' on it. I'm assuming that's a phone backup battery pack and not cable. I remember there was one there before that said 'Lectro' on it. At least I think there's a battery pack, you can hear a whirring like noise if you're near it.

Yeah, I used to have a Mac Plus, cute little computer. There was an issue with it where it would turn itself on and off over and over. So I gave it away.
A wireless keyboard would work well for your shop chair. Another case where it would work nicely is with a Wii, just plug into the USB port on the back and browse from the couch or wherever. Although I always used a wired keyboard with mine and just sat near it when I needed to type. Not sure if a mouse could be used with a Wii though but I just used the remote for clicking.

Yeah, probably true, it was the update that messed it up.

Very nice fan, I like that diffuser grille, reminds me of the ceiling diffusers you see in buildings.

Very nice, I like the ivory models, they are different. This one seems to be in great shape, usually the ivory ones seemed to peel more than the bronze ones. I recall you had a 16" ivory as well that was redone if I remember right.

Is this meant to move the air to the sides so papers won't scatter, like a bank teller fan?
