Awesome collection!
I have a number of the same fans, the grey foam blade one in the closet, 5 wing GE box fan , gray GE strap fan and Hunter to its left, and the Toastmaster box fan in a different color..
That Westinghouse box fan is very interesting,, almost looks like a rebrand GE.. Could you post some more pictures of it?

Thanks. I just got that Emerson and the Dominion by it at Fan Fest last month. I found the Westinghouse at an estate sale earlier this year for $1, the Toastmaster was in the trash down the street a few years ago. The Westinghouse looks a lot like the brown GE 2 speed, but it is actually a Hunter frame with a Marco motor. The blade is like the GE, but the vents are a little different to fit the Marco motor. And it has a plastic clip to hold it on where on the GE it has that rubber piece and a metal C-clip with washers. They also used this blade on some Kel-Aire and some off-brand cheap box fans. Lasko/Galaxy even used it on their first 5 wing fans but the hub had no vents. Westinghouse in the late 60s was selling Hunter box fans with the 3 metal blades, this frame and a Hunter motor under their name, and later in the 70s went with the Marco motor and GE blade. There are some fancier versions with 3 speed reverse, venturi ring and plastic grills as well.

Was there anything wrong with it?
I really hate that C clip thing they use on the GE box fans.. I don't have the right tool for it, so its always a pain to get it off.. Don't know how many hours I've spent looking for it around my shop every time I take it apart..

Yeah the Toastmaster motor doesn't work, it was full of dust and probably burned out the fuse. It cleaned up well, I repainted the inside because it had a little rust. I just never got a new motor for it.
I agree the c-clip are annoying. I was working on one and the c-clip flew off. I actually had to buy some new ones at Lowe's. Now I use a clip puller instead.

My grandfather has the proper took for getting it off.. Borrowed it once and had even less success than when pulling it off with pliers..

It's a Lakewood, I believe it's from 1976, or that's what the date on the motor is.

Thanks Duane, these are old photos. I should get some newer ones of my fan displays.
Jordan, I'm guessing so, I found another thread here from 2008 where they are working too. I don't know if new uploads would work because I haven't uploaded anything in a year or two since they had stopped allowing forum linking.
