Today at Habitat, I saw one of those rotary grille box fans. It was white plastic about 12" and had three speeds, a timer and grille on/off. It was branded Marvin, and I figured it must have been foreign made and just had the name on it. I would have gotten it but it was missing one of the two big feet on the base and the front was very yellowed.
It was an interesting to see, plus I always thought rotary grille box fans were cool, when I was younger.

That does sound pretty strange.. Did you take any pictures? I can't think of any Marvin branded fans off hand that aren't the typical 4-blade metal window fan style..

That is quite out of the ordinary for Marvin.. If it's still there you should get it--there can't be many of those around still..

I never thought any fan would be sold under the Marvin brand that wasn't made by Marvin. For a while Marvin even sold their window fans under the Sears label.

I didn't get it and it sold. It would have taken up a lot of space, and I noticed it was made in China, which kind of made me less interested in getting it. If both legs had been there, I might have gotten it.
I was surprised Marvin outsourced some fans too, but I guess they did with heaters as well.
