I've had this fan for a while, it dates back to the early to mid 1970's. it was made for Sears by Sanyo. This is a nice quiet running fan, it's almost like an Emerson 77646.
Enjoy the video -

I have a fan very similar to that but yours in in a lot better shape. The oscillator is bound up on mine. Also, mine has a weird brass like finish on the grilles that has turned green.
These are very quiet fans though, and yours looks to be in great condition.

I love those fans! Do you know what years they were sold at Sears? I feel like they were before the Lasko made versions.

I have an avocado Sears fan with lime green blades made by Knapp Monarch. I think those were the first green bladed Sears. Before that they were tan and brown or blue. There were also some McGraw Edison style Sears branded fans, they had a white metal base, motor housing and white cage with clear green blades. Then I think these Sanyo made ones came along. My Sanyo made Sears seems to be from the early 70s. I know the first Lasko/Galaxy blue blade fans that looked very similar to these Sears were in 1972, so definitely in that era.

I actually bought a Spring& Summer Sears catalog from 1976 on eBay hoping to see some green Sears oscillators, sadly it doesn’t have any portable fans in it.
