This is a Dayton Model 4C613/C 18" High Velocity Fan. I think it was made in the late 1980's or early 90's. These were basically a re badged 2nd Generation Lakewood HV-18, the differences are that this fan has a spiral guard and a grounded cordset.
The motor is a McMillan PSC 4 pole, it's efficient and powerful.
This fan has had a hard life, it was covered in drywall dust, paint and grease, but it cleaned up nicely and still runs great.
Enjoy the video -

Nice fan, I have seen some Lakewood S223 fans that were rebadged as Dayton, but I don't think I've seen an HV relabel. I remember my aunt and uncle used to have a Lakewood version of that in the early 90s. These are really good fans.

Thanks Cole. I saw a lot of this model of fan on a rolling stand at the local community college. Also mainly saw the Dayton re branded P-23s.

I remember the Lakewood models on roll around stands. Our local furniture store used to show them in their ads, as well as the window fan version. What's interesting is that the Dayton badged S-223s still used the first generation fat blades even in the 90s.

Did they really sell the 1st gen Lakewood blade in the 90’s, or did they just not update the picture? It would be awesome if they did.

A fresh coat of paint on the blades and it would look next to new.. I've always liked the sound of these fans..
