Heinke-Zwickau and Maico ceiling fans are made in Germany. Were they ever officially distributed in Canada? Unfortunately no but Maico fans can be bought outside of Deutschland.

Most likely, the person meant to say 'made in germany' as in the company that designed it or sells it is a german company.

Interesting to see this with the sconces.. Hampton Bay included a matching light fixture of some sort with a few of their models, and they're hardly ever seen.. I don't know how the performance of these fans are,, but they're quite nice looking lit..

The quality and performance were overall decent.

Just 4 Saisons is enough. I would love to find a Classic in brown and brass with the metal upper canopy, the wider blades and the large nut like this but with plain or stencil blades. It's a childhood fan of mine. I would have thought the fourth link to be a Nadair. They came with 132 cm blades and this canopy too. That last Canarm would be the same as the one I posted before in my sightings that is/was installed in the Buffet Tiki. The one in the ad would be all brass though. I haven't seen any of them with a bell canopy but then the pictures on the box probably doesn't show the fan that is actually in the box. www.vintageceilingfans.com/membergalleries/gallery/showimage.php?i=4803&c=134

I would have thought the fourth link to be a Nadair. They came with 132 cm blades and this canopy too. Its entirely possible, however Nadairs of that era are scarcely-seen in BC. I am unsure of who exactly manufactured them, however the Excel/Winco GE-vents do look identical to Nadair and are not too uncommon (here) either... Those Canarm boxes are a mixed bag Although unlikely, its not completely out-of-the-question that the fan did include a bell-canopy. I have actually worked with a late 80s TAT-made Canarm which did include one.

The small Canarm is not an Atom.
I never knew Loblaws sold ceiling fans.
Awesome discovery on that Inter-Fantasy Original. The amperage of the motor is insanely high.
