BTW the sanctuary seats about 200, maybe 250 if we crammed some more chairs in. Even if we turn the thermostats to 60 or lower, it still gets like 90 degrees in there when it fills up with people. The fans help a great deal.
The white fan is in the front entryway, which leads to the sanctuary (off to the left) or to the offices, kitchen, barber shop, and beauty salon that are part of the church. All those rooms need fans too.
Next project, a lot more lighting in the sanctuary.

Wow! very nice arrangement.
Is this a Christian church?
Do you take all these fans from you BIG collection?(toviews)
So these are the Nutone Industrials that you were talking about? Yes I admit the blades are similar to the ones use on the newer Compton Greaves High Breeze from South Africa. They don't looks old do you know when they where made? Also what kind of controls do they uses? Are they 48'' ? They looks like Australian spinner ceiling fans. They fit really well in the church.( I have seen a similar nutone industrial on ebay but its was brown and had 3 curved blades)

Yes, it is a Christian church.
I dont remember talking about Nutone industrials, but these are one of my favorite industrial fans. They would have come with a Nutone brand variable speed OR transformer control, however I am using it with a 4 speed capacitor control to be quieter. They are 48" from the early 1980s. The 56" version had 3 curved blades.

Very nice fans Dan. The Nutone is especially clean. What size is the Broan? And the DH's: where did you put the canopies? Above the drop ceiling? My family isn't Christian, My parents sometimes go to a Buddist temple, so I guess that makes me Buddist. They have some fans there, I'll take a picture the next time we go. They have 6 Hampton Bay Huntingtons (1st gen), which replaced 6 Carroways, those are upstairs. In the lobby there's a generic 4 blade ge vent fan, I don't know what it is:

The fan pictured is an Evergo.
The Broans are 48". The Design Houses I installed without the canopies, since one of them was originally flush mounted and therefore was missing part of the canopy. If I mess with them, or switch them with other fans, I will probably stick some white bell canopies on there.
Generally speaking I dont talk about religion or politics online, but I will say this: it is a very good thing that you go (willingly, I assume) with your parents, it's important to be respectful of them. But if you dont feel any connection to where they go, visit some other places (with their permission). There are a lot of different religions, I believe we all have different perceptions of the same God. Find something you can connect to.

Ok these pictures are old, our sanctuary and foyer have both been remodeled. The sanctuary fans are still there but we doubled the size so there are two more Mastercrafts. The foyer is VERY different and how has a Homestead and a Minka Aire. We are now remodeling our community center. Fans were supposed to be last but it got too hot this summer and I put these in: We need to fix the ceiling, remove the fluorescent striplights, install some recessed lighting (fluorescent and cans) and some track lighting, redo the floors, etc. There's a back room to the community center that is much larger and requires much more work. No fans there yet. I picked up a 56" white 3 blade Crompton Greaves I've been thinking of sticking there temporarily.

BTW that's a camera phone pic. When I get a chance I'll get a real camera and get better pics of these, the new sanctuary and new foyer.
There are 3 fans in the pic, equally spaced.

BTW I got these motors from Louis, the blades come from the older style Envirofans with the bell shaped canopy and Evergo style motors. I had 3 extra sets of blades.
