Here are the sightings for 2021. April: A lone 1990's Decorator's Choice (Air Cool) two tone 132 cm in a dépanneur in Montréal missing two blades. Other than the missing blades, it's in good condition. These are very common in white and black but rare in this combo of gray and black. An early 2010's indoor/outdoor Hunter on the balcony of an apartment in Montréal. It was installed in either 2010 or 2011. It's still in very good conditon for being installed outside. The owners keep it very clean. Someone remembers the name of this model? Enjoy the first sightings of 2021!

June: Here's a revisit of the two Canarm CP56 140 cm in the entrance of the greenhouses and main building of Montreal's botanical garden that I photographed in October 2016. One can be seen on page 55 of this thread. This time they were on. It's probably the first time I see them on. Two early 1980's NuTone Verandah Deluxes 132 cm in brown and polished brass with walnut and stencil blades in a restaurant in Montréal. Fan no 1: Fan no 2: Enjoy!

Nice! It's too bad the Decorator's Choice is missing 2 blades but at least it's in good condition. The model name of the Hunter is Curacao. I'm glad you got to revisit the 2 Canarm CP56 in the Main Building at the Montreal Botanical Garden & get a video of them. Now I know that there are 2 of them since you did a video of them. I didn't know how many there were when I saw you're picture of only one from October 2016. Nice that you saw Nutone Verandah Deluxe's. I didn't think those were common in Canada. In fact, I didn't think any Nutone ceiling fans were common in Canada. Nice find!

NuTones are not common around here but the Verandah Deluxe 90 cm shows up on locals ads from time to time but it's the first time I see them in 132 cm. They look much better in this size.

Thanks for posting these latest ones. Love the video! I can't think of a better fan for that location in the gardens.
Take care!

Here are the sightings for July: I went back to a restaurant located in Brownsburg, QC with three Canarm CP56 that I posted about in 2019 on page 65 on this thread. I mentionned that this restaurant also has three dark chrome SMC huggers installed on the porch. I took a picture and a short video of them this time. They were running on low speed. They were originally installed in 2010 with their original triple lights but they eventually removed them and taped the bottom of their switch housings. Being installed in a semi outdoor area their blades are warped but not severely. They have the dark blue marble side of the blades showing. Here's a bad photo of what they looked like in September 2011 when they still had their lights and their blades were in good condition. Enjoy!

Here are the sightings for September: In Québec City: Three antique brass Canarm Mistral Plus 132 cm in a Subway restaurant located inside of Gare du Palais. I originally saw these fans in 2008 and they are still there! These would be from sometime around the mid 1990's to early 2000's. They use a rubber flywheel and have beautiful high gloss oak blades. A Kendal Builder's Choice in a store. This is the older variant from the 2000's and first half of the 2010's. This model was changed for a cheaper variant. A restaurant in the old town has an interesting selection of fans. One of three antique brass 1980's 4 Saisons Classic 132 cm. This one has a 3-speed pull chain (cut very short). The two other ones are controlled by genuine 4 Saisons 5-speed wall controls. One 2000's Canarm Harlequin from the Royal Collection without it's light kit. The flange cover is installed upside down on the bottom of the canopy rather than being on top of the housing. I don't remember that this model ever had a reverse switch, not even the last ones made. One early 1990's SMC Park Avenue 132 cm with it's original shades. The two Canarm Calibre installed in the Kiosque Frontenac at terrasse Dufferin. In Lévis, QC: The fan display in a Canac store. The Canarm Omni is still sold! Canarm had this model for about 20 years now. It still uses a good old reverse pull chain. A new model: Vertuo Cornü 112 cm. The shape of the housing reminds me of Indola fans. In Montréal: Two early 1980's ivory 4 Saisons Industriels 140 cm with four metal curved blades in a dry cleaner. Their upper canopies are hidden above the dropped ceiling. The one at the front: The one at the back: In a bar two fans in a pretty sad shape. This early 1990's Nadair Saturn-GE Vent hybrid style 107 cm fan in glossy black and polished brass. It's difficult to see as this fan is so dusy but it has stencil at the tip of it's blades. At the back this white Westinghouse Princess Ambiance 107 cm. It would normally have a mushroom globe. I have the older Encon variant of this fan. Enjoy!

Nice! I have seen those two calibres when I was there in June of 2019, Brandon has a video of it.
I love the two 4 saisons industrials 140 cm, which area in Montreal?
The 4 saisons Classics is or are in very good shape. do the two other ones have a switch housing?

It's nice to find places like these not updated that still have classic fans. Yes, all the 4 Saisons Classic in the restaurant in Québec City have switch housings. Other than the pull chains cut very short on the one I photographed they are indeed in very good shape.

Here are the sightings of November, the last sightings of 2021, all taken in Montréal. A dépanneur has these two early 1980's New Fan 140 cm with three metal curved blades and the special built-in electrical box on the extension pole. I believe these were imported by Nadair. One is off and the other one is always on low speed. A Subway restaurant has two or three of these polished brass Canarm GE Vent 107 cm from around the mid 1990's. Along with Canarm Grand Builders, this model is pretty common in Subway restaurants. A patisserie has this recent Westinghouse 132 cm on a high ceiling. A dry cleaner has this 1980's white Golden Fan spinner 120 cm. This is a very rare model with three wood blades. I know the existence of only two other ones like this: the one Adam found and one I have seen installed in a bar a while ago that surprisingly had a cylindrical upper canopy. A recent Likewise hugger 107 cm in a dépanneur. Enjoy and comment!

Nice sightings even thought I have seen most of them.
Yes you told me what happened at the dépanneur international, that was crazy.
Is this Subway at the corner of Beaubien and Papineau? And they seem pretty dirty.
I have never seen this Westinghouse before so it must be fairly recently installed.
Ah yes that Golden fan Electric, I am glad I live near there so I can keep an eye out for that.
I have seen that likewise hugger but I never went inside, it has three pullchain, the current ones only have two now.
