Here are the sightings for September. The first pictures were taken in a resort that was renovated last year located southeast of Thessaloniki in Greece (230V - 50 Hz). The two different restaurant in the resort have brand new white outdoor Hunters. One have a row of Cabo Frios 132 cm. It's one of the rare new Hunter model that I like. They were spinning on low. The other restaurant in the resort have many Hunter Maribel 132 cm with the ugly new type of Hunter switch housing. Here in Montréal. Another one of those unknown Industrial like I posted before twice. It might be a Nadair from the early to mid 1990's. In a local BBQ chicken and ribs restaurant, a very cool and chunky PB Nadair GE vent 120 cm like I have but with the different nicier and wider cane blades. It was spinning at what I suppose is it's medium speed as mine spins pretty slow on medium. They are other cool 1980's Nadair brass fans in the restaurant but I was not able to get good pictures of them. Café Santropol in the Plateau Mont-Royal area where it has the copper Palcos with four metal curved blades that I posted before in August 2012 replaced the two beat up black Nadairs with these Hampton Bay Farmington and they also added one (this one) in place of a light fixture so where they was no fans before so now there's an additional fan in the place. The vintage copper Palcos and the antique brass Harbour Breeze spinner are still there. A store in the Plateau area has two of these brass mid 2000's Westinghouses 137 cm with five ABS leaf style blades. It's my favorite Westinghouse tropical model, they look very cool. I forgot how they are called though. An italian restaurant in the Saint-Laurent area has three early 1990's fans: two dark chrome Nadair in the Mercury style and one Canarm Contempra in glossy black. Nadair no 1 Nadair no 2 The Canarm Contempra, this one seems to be an unusual version with none detachable switch housing. Enjoy!

I love Cabo Frios. Wish they were available for the North American market.

Here are the October sightings. I was very busy lately so I could not post them earlier. At an apple orchard in Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, QC a very cool Westinghouse Propeller 132 cm in the store. Réno-Dépôt sold these in the mid 2000's. About 10 years later this one still looks brand new. Here in Montréal: In the main building of the botanical garden are a few Canarm CP56. A portuguese restaurant in the Plateau Mont-Royal area are two or three of the mid 1990's Nadair Mini Designer. It's very yellowed. The mid 1990's version with the longer switch is more uncommon. Notice the canopy. There was also a Nadair Coral Bay on a long extension pole. An asian supermarket near my workplace has many Banvil Bronze Lines: two different versions. Most of them are this version: Here's another one: Three at the back place in a row near a wall are this version with the more classic motor and well curved blades. In Québec City: Some new arrivals at the display in a Canac store. A Canarm Cove 120 cm: A Canarm Axis 132 cm, it uses a DEL light. A Hunter Astoria 132 cm in a designer clothing store in the historic part of town. This is a pretty unexpected installation. The historic part of town is full of goodies. A gift store has two antique copper Golden Fans 120 cm with some pieces of cane missing on the blades. In a clothing store this white Golden Fan 120 cm with three metal curved blades. I think it's the first time that I see a metal blade version in 120 cm. Very cool! In the same store at the front this nice Canarm CP56. A souvenir store has at least two of these white mid 1980's Nadair spinner in 107 cm. I have the five blade version of this and the brass four blade version in 120 cm. They look the best in 107 cm. In Èze, Côte d'Azur (230 volts-50 Hz). A parfum factory has multiples Vortice Nordik International in various sizes. A 140 cm one missing the upper canopy and it's closeup. A 90 cm one. And finally this funny combination on another 90 cm one. Anyone has seen this before? A Nordik International with the rounded canopies seen on other Vortice models such as the Nordik Decor. Enjoy and comment!

Lit? What would this mean in this context? Bright? In this context, 'lit' is used in supplementation of "nice sightings" or "cool sightings". But yeah, nice sightings...for real.

Here are the November sightings. The December sightings will follow soon. Some fans at an economy store in Saint-Jérôme, Québec just to show a few they were more: 1997 AB Casablanca Zephyr Next Generation. The blades and brackets were there too, it's all complete. Installed in the place is this antique brass Kendal 107 cm from the 2000's. Someone remember the name of this model? It was discontinued recently. The halogen light kit on the bottom was removed. I love how the blades are so wide on this model. A 2000-present Canarm Catalyst IV with the tips of the spotlights removed. Near my workplace is a bar that has five fans. Three of them are older and located inside and the two other are newer and outside. Inside are three of some of my favorite fans: early 1980's 4 Saisons with four metal curved blades in 120 cm. My favorite size too. They have metal canopies so they are most likely from 1981. The two first ones are always on low speed (50 rpms) and the 3rd one is at a fast-low speed (90 rpms) . Fan No. 1 and a close up below where we can see the 4 Saisons blue and orange sticker. Fan No. 2, the upper canopy is a little low on this one. Fan No. 3, this one is significantly dustier than the others and is set at a slightly faster speed than the two firsts. Here's a very quick video of all three of them since apparently some of you like to see videos of fans that are not mine. The bar also have a covered terrace with two Canarm CP36 which seems to have been added in 2010. The poor fans are very rusted already. I love the colour that the sunset gives on these photos. Next to this bar is a dry cleaner that has this 1982-1984 4 Saisons spinner with cane blades and the original tassels. It seems to be 132 cm. Very close to the dry cleaner is this laundromat that has three Banvil Bronze Lines. Another one. At my workplace is a large room that has two Canarms CP56 in very good condition. They are both on a 3-speed Lutron slider. They were probably installed in the late 2000's. No. 2 A glimpse of what they look like on low and medium speed including a cool mirror shot. Enjoy and comment!

Here are the sightings for December. The last sightings for 2016. I went to Rosemont borough of Montréal so I revisited some of the places I visited in September 2012. Refer to page 22 of this thread to see the pictures taken before. A café still has these two rare Encon Avion 107 cm. They were on medium speed. It's been a while since I've seen one on high speed but in my memory they are very powerful especially with only three blades. This model was sold only in 2000 and 2001 in Québec at Réno-Dépôt. This is the genuine Encon version in titanium finish and blue accents. It still has the original Encon pull chain. Westinghouse still offers this model but without the blue accents. There's also a second version with a light on the boot but I only like the first version. Encon and later Westinghouse is one of the rare companies that I can say I really like their contemporary model. They had and have very cool models. I went back to the library that has five fans: two white Canarm Contempra, two white and black Canarm and one ivory 4 Saisons Galaxy. Another shot of one of the two Canarms Contempra. This time the 4 Saisons Galaxy above the cash on the vaulted ceiling wasn't spinning. The last time it was on high. Above that vaulted ceiling must be stairs. It's seems to be a 3-speed model but I can't see the other pull chain. The canopy indicates that it would be from 1984. It's the ivory version of my chrome one. The stencil faces up. We can see the 4 Saisons sticker on the switch housing next to the pull chain. I also revisited the dollar store with the little Canarm spinners. They were all off this time. I hope you all like the 2016 sightings and finally I had international sightings. Let me know if you want more. Enjoy and comment!
