I love that Moss Heirloom Deluxe... Looks like the same one in Dan's Habitat video.. It usually takes me weeks before I get decent pics and video up.. I have to depend on a good day with good lighting..

Years ago I posted same day as acquisition, now I'm usually within two weeks of acquiring since I put new stuff first. I can't be immediate anymore, and of course I also have stuff months old that you guys haven't seen yet, but I like to stay pretty prompt otherwise I absolutely will fall detrimentally behind and won't be able to recover. That, and I maintain a YouTube lineup that pushes me continually forward.

Beautiful Moss Cole! Sorry to hear about the HD failure.. People always make fun of me because I back up my external hard drive, but one day I know I'll be glad I did.. I have the same problem with falling behind on acquisitions on YouTube.. I don't like to film stuff until I get it cleaned and running, and with the hours I work that's often months afterwards..

Thanks Jordan.
My intent was always to back up everything multiple times, I was just never able to get everything set up before an unforeseeable disaster happened lol. I'm working on doing it better now, I've experienced a few too many big problems to not do it right this time.
Cleaning is always why I fall behind with portables, it's usually so much more intensive/longer with them than ceiling fans which can be hard to find time for.

Picked up this thing at Habitat after it'd been sitting there for a month, not exactly knowing what it was. I got the obvious Beverly Hills vibe from it, also kinda seemed like something JC Penney would sell, etc. Got feedback in the Facebook group that it's probably Beverly Hills. Honestly I don't even really care for it that much, but it was weird enough that I thought it'd be worth grabbing. It had the finial for the bottom glass piece when it originally came in, but over the month it sat in a box and got moved around, the finial went missing and I don't have anything that fits. Otherwise it's complete. Not that it really matters, but I believe I have the blades on upside-down. One is pretty badly damaged on the one side, so I flipped them all.

That thing is pretty obscure.. Is the glass colorful? Not too sure on this one,, don't immediately dislike it, but I don't particularly take a liking to it either.. I'm not thrilled with fans that have blades coming out the side from an invisible location.. I think 5 blades might have been a better fit for this.. What kind of motor has it, any power to it?

The glass is really how it appears in the first picture. It's like all kind of a uniform light cream color, but it has very light iridescent colors coated over.
That's my dilemma with it, I can't really say much of what I like or dislike about it, other than that it's a really badly-executed design IMO. Both functionally and physically, it's just all kinds of wrong for me. I honestly like the four blades, that's one thing I can say I like. It's almost like a trademark for some of these really off-the-wall Ron Rezek-ish designs, anything else would feel wrong to me. All of this kind of confusion over it is what drew me to it though, and after a month of debating it, I dropped the $15 on it. I'm glad I did now, it's been interesting hearing other opinions, many of which kind of echo my own.
It's spinner, I want to say it was only 153mm but honestly don't quote me on that, I think the size was actually on a sticker but can't recall. It is actually surprisingly powerful though, I guess the blades are pretty light and skinny, but it's more impressive than, say, your average 52" Hunter from the past five years. A solid high speed, for sure.

Something just came to mind: it is weird that that "Beverly Hills" (supposedly Beverly Hills) has a pull chain... those types of fans are usually wall-controlled.
