Here we go with the hand carved blades again! LOL I find it hard to believe that someone actually sits there and carves them in this age of machinery and mass production..
But regardless it sure does look nice.. I'd rather see the irons a little larger than the blades be less wide.. I like wide blades..

That's why I often put 'hand carved' in quotations, because I don't buy that they're hand carved in any form either. I'd love to chop one of these blades up someday and see what they're like inside, because I don't think they weigh any more than your standard blade set, maybe even less. I'm sure it's some sort of composite or fiberboard inside, but the outside layers are gorgeously done.
I like wide blades, but 'hand carved' blades often take the concept of a wide blade to extremes that are a little far for me. With these blades I could definitely see slightly larger blade arms benefitting the appearance, but with standard B52 blades, the Crown's stock shell arms are absolute perfection.

That is quite strange, I never knew Nutone rebranded stuff.. Either way its a neat fan due to its oddity, especially new in box..
I have a Hunter fan that looks identical to this one, however its 52".. What is the name of it? Someone told me a while ago, I think it was Alex, but the name has since escaped me.. Its something Breeze..

You got the Emerson from Hansen Wholesale?
I thought these NuTone Hunter lookalike were just cheaper version of them and not the actual fans rebranded.
Do you think you will get a Fanimation Ascension soon?

Do you think you will get a Fanimation Ascension soon? No, their prices are still too high on Emersons, even on sale. As far as I know, everything is identical to the Hunters. Except maybe the motor, it's probably of the same specs, but it doesn't look like usual Hunter. I've never owned a Coastal Breeze either though, so maybe it is the same motor. I have no idea. I've been waiting to hear the details of what Dan was working on with Fanimation for Ascension discounts. I'm not buying one at full retail.

What discount with Fanimation? You like being secretive lately, hehe. I have never heard of that. I saw the price they're sold for and it's not terrible. Talking about four metal blade fans, I acquired this past August the Quatre Saisons 120 cm with four metal curved blades I've been wanting for a long time. I posted it here.
