eBay.
It's been mentioned in the Facebook group, a possible price cut for fan enthusiasts interested in obtaining an Ascension. Retail isn't bad, but I'm not paying it when there's potential to get one for less. Secretive to say the least, I have beans that are yet to be spilled.
Yes I did get to glance at that 4 Seasons! Absolutely love it.

Absolutely love it. Humm yes, I just saw that they are pretty good deals on black Emersons Premiums with Value Brothers and they now ship in many countries. Well stop being so secretive then. They are so many of those fans groups on Facebook. I'm on two of them. On which one was it? Here is the thread of the Quatre Saisons. It's got pushed away by a new member that suddenly posted a lot of new threads. ada19851985.proboards.com/thread/9764/quatre-saisons-metal-curved-blades

Yes, I've been keeping an eye on the Premiums, I'd like to grab one of those too because I love them in black.
The beans I speak of are unrelated to the Fanimation deal, they'll be spilled presently. The Ascension thing was on the 'official' Ceiling Fans group for sure, might have been on I Heart Fans too, I can't remember.

Got this chrome Avalon already nearly two months ago, and it kind of just sat around because I wasn't sure what to do with it. It was the eBay fan that had a rusty, pitted sideband, and the original gray Avalon blades were completely wrecked and unsalvageable (I did save the four intact rods to have as spares). It's shown with the white Avalon blade set I already had. I mainly got it because I wanted the chrome Avalon blade arms, and I planned on just parting out the rest due to the condition. But upon tearing it down, I was thinking maybe I could salvage it by taking some steel wool to it. I figured there wasn't much to lose if it went wrong, since I couldn't do anything with it in the condition that it was in anyways. The results were incredible, the motor itself came out in better condition than the blade arms I actually wanted (couldn't steel wool the arms, they have like a different lacquer on them that scratches instead of polishing). A couple new bearings, a new flywheel, and new vent screen later, and it runs great. There is still some slight blemishing on the sideband, but you can't tell unless you get really close and look for it, otherwise it's in nearly like-new condition. I've attached a picture of the sideband before I did anything to it.

Nice restoration on the Avalon! The beans I speak of are unrelated to the Fanimation deal, they'll be spilled presently. The Ascension thing was on the 'official' Ceiling Fans group for sure, might have been on I Heart Fans too, I can't remember. I would be interested in obtaining an Ascension, however not at the price its currently at.. I'm not on any of those Faceblog groups so I know nothing about this..

Welp, I got one of the NIB Barbeque Black Premiums too. With B52DC dark cherry blades. I saw a BBQ black Premium in person multiple times at Great Fans in St. Paul and just absolutely loved it every time, it was one of my favorite fans they had on display overall, so I had to get one of these for myself when the price was right. Not a whole lot else to say, I simply love everything about it. Barbeque black appeals to me because it's sort of in-between a gloss black and a matte black, but it's almost got a little something else to it because there are little imperfections that I think add character while still maintaining the classiness of a black fan. Bearings are a little stiff but I think they just need to be broken in, otherwise it works great. Video here: youtu.be/TdYbE0VWtLk

Not exactly a find since Emerson sent it to me, but I wanted to document it in the 2015 thread of fans I got. So here's the Crofton in Vintage Steel. Pictures are not really an accurate representation of the finish, the video shows it much better. It's a fan that's grown on me like the Carrera Grande did, a fan I didn't really look at before. In particular, I like how it looks when in motion. Can't really explain why, something about the aesthetic of this blade shape paired with the overall design looks cool to me when it's spinning.

Starting out #FanimationWeek on my YouTube channel today! First fan is the Windpointe, with blades included from the Treventi series. The box says the palm blades are included, but they in fact were not. Not the most incredibly powerful fan, it moves decent air but the speeds are pretty slow. That aside, I've always been quite fond of the Windpointe series as a whole. Nice simple design that's incredibly versatile and customizable. I love the blade arms on the three blade version best, so I was happy to get this one.

The fact that it has three blades makes it weird and cool at the same time.

I like the Windpointe! I think they mean that it has a set of blades, though they may not be palm blades.
