That’s a nice one! But the canopy seems like an odd shape… It kind of is That wasn't uncommon on these early 80's Banvil/Envirofans though. A ceiling fan…what did you think it was? Are you sure? It certainly had me fooled!, since it looked like more a slice of cheese than anything! If you lived in Canada, you might not be saying that. These are unbelievably common up here (particularly the white and polished brass version).

I don't live in Cadana, and they're not common around here, so I'm saying that! Cadana? Is that a new brand that I'm unaware of? Also there were tons of bottom-mounted spinners in the US back in the 90's! You mean "O Canada"

Cadana? Is that a new brand that I'm unaware of? Also there were tons of bottom-mounted spinners in the US back in the 90's! No, its a place, not a brand. Its kind of like Canada, but the schools don't teach spelling anymore. Unfortunately, most everything from the 90s is gone by now. You mean "O Canada" No, I mean "O Christmas Tree"

Unfortunately, most everything from the 90s is gone by now. You clearly haven't been to any ReStores! No, I mean "O Christmas Tree" You're a bit late for that! Also, this whole "O" thing isn't going anywhere!

Also, this whole "O" thing isn't going anywhere! O don't be ridiculous! Its never too late for Christmas. My tree is still in my office, along with about half of the lights. Also, this whole "O" thing isn't going anywhere! Obviously it is, but if you think it is nit, then we can stop.

The Casablanca Delta II is AMAZING is every way. Thee price is incredible, the finish combination is fantastic, it's got older pointed tipped blades and it's one of the RARE model to have an actual reverse pull chain.

The Casablanca Delta II is AMAZING is every way. Thee price is incredible, the finish combination is fantastic, it's got older pointed tipped blades and it's one of the RARE model to have an actual reverse pull chain. Agreed! I don't know what Max is talking about in regards to the price, $35 for a beautiful Casablanca is a steal! I think this is the first one I've seen with a reverse pull chain. Now if only it had gloss blades, then it would be absolutely perfect. What brand would this be? I know it’s made by Halsey: vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/hsh/4899502361.html Maybe this is a dumb question, but if you know its made by Halsey, isn’t it a Halsey? This is still here: vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/hsh/4860607475.html I still like it, but $30 is a little steep for a cheapo… Cool installs: vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/app/4887307951.html Third picture looks like its hitting both walls, if its not hitting then its too close to really be productive. Last picture, what is that fan? Its 23 feet wide and cost over $800! Yeah right!!! I’m sure that won’t bend the blades at all _ vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/for/4896454332.html Blades are fine, what you are talking about? New in box Hampton Bay Florentine: vancouver.craigslist.ca/rch/hsh/4882970627.html $29, seriously? If they have 4 of the exact same one, I’d buy them all! I doubt this is new... vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/hsh/4897789415.html I don’t. It looks pretty clean, and the wires aren’t cut. For that size downrod on there, the wires would have been cut in a proper install. I’ve never seen this before. Wal-Mart? vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/for/4885038378.html Looks cheap, I bet it didn’t cost much more than $25 new. Higher-end Kendal Lighting in Verde Green/Verdigris: vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/for/4884782518.html What kind of motor has this got in it? I’m not too fond of its looks. Another cool install: vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/hsh/4885215752.html Decent fan too, there are two of these in a cider mill by my grandparents house. They move a lot of air. New in box Home Styles: vancouver.craigslist.ca/pml/for/4854816393.html The picture is garbage. No comment beyond that because I can’t see the fan! Free Canarm Mystic (honestly, these aren’t worth anything more): vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/zip/4889561480.html That description is awesome! That’s got to go in the fails section! Not Casablanca, however I still like it: vancouver.craigslist.ca/bnc/hsh/4881929979.html This has been posted a number of times, but since you brought it up again I was wanting to ask you, are you near this to get it? Nadair Heritage: vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/hsh/4880945814.html I like these a lot, wish we had them here in the US. That light fixture is really nice too. Hunter Summer Breeze Plus: vancouver.craigslist.ca/pml/for/4882213078.html That looks nothing like the regular Summer Breeze. How does it compare in performance? Two late 80’s to early 90’s Sears/SMC DC42s: vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/hsh/4897853971.html Did you post these just because they’ve got CFLz? I assume they’re wrong when they say they’ve got ‘2 speed stages’… Now for an actual Casablanca - this Delta II. Though I love the fan, I can't say the same about the price: vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/hsh/4853865886.html Very nice! What’s wrong with $35 for a beautiful Casablanca?

I don't know what Max is talking about in regards to the price, $35 for a beautiful Casablanca is a steal! I think this is the first one I've seen with a reverse pull chain. Now if only it had gloss blades, then it would be absolutely perfect. I should clarify. The fan was $65.00 just earlier last week, however they lowered the price. $35.00 is more like it. Maybe this is a dumb question, but if you know its made by Halsey, isn’t it a Halsey? Yes, however that's not the brand it would have been sold under. Third picture looks like its hitting both walls, if its not hitting then its too close to really be productive. Last picture, what is that fan? Its 23 feet wide and cost over $800! Yeah right!!! I believe that would be a Fanimation. Its definitely not 23'! Blades are fine, what you are talking about? The lady is holding the fan by one of the blades, which is obviously bending in the picture. Though its a cheap fan, there's still something wrong there! $29, seriously? If they have 4 of the exact same one, I’d buy them all! Yes, seriously. If you lived around here, you'd probably have 50 of these things by now! I don’t. It looks pretty clean, and the wires aren’t cut. For that size downrod on there, the wires would have been cut in a proper install. I'm not sure how it renders on your computer, however I'm seeing obvious scratching on the ball, and some faded brass. Personally, I almost never cut the lead wires on fans, and I've seen other do them same... Looks cheap, I bet it didn’t cost much more than $25 new. Probably around $50.00 to $40.00. As with almost any ceiling fan: "If it looks cheap, it probably is." What kind of motor has this got in it? I’m not too fond of its looks. Though I've never worked with one of these before, I'd say a 188X15 made by Halsey. Decent fan too, there are two of these in a cider mill by my grandparents house. They move a lot of air. These never impressed me as particularly crappy. The picture is garbage. No comment beyond that because I can’t see the fan! I don't blame you there! That description is awesome! That’s got to go in the fails section! Apparently it was so bad, they deleted it! This has been posted a number of times, but since you brought it up again I was wanting to ask you, are you near this to get it? Though I am in the general area, I wouldn't touch it at that price. Plus, this fan first showed up in 2010 listed for $85.00, so I doubt its going down anytime soon. That looks nothing like the regular Summer Breeze. How does it compare in performance? As with most pre-2006 Hunter fans, the airflow is spectacular. Here's a video I made of one of these back in 2012: Did you post these just because they’ve got CFLz? I assume they’re wrong when they say they’ve got ‘2 speed stages’… No

I only cut the wires on fans that I’ve installed in my house like the Brookhurst and the Walon. I don’t cut the wires on vintage fans because I don’t know where I may put them in the future. Someone cut the wires on my Original very short, they’re only about 6 inches long, which is a shame because if I ever want to use any sizable downrod it will have to be rewired. Probably around $50.00 to $40.00. As with almost any ceiling fan: "If it looks cheap, it probably is." I have one that looks really nice but is cheap… Though I've never worked with one of these before, I'd say a 188X15 made by Halsey. That’s pretty good. These never impressed my as particularly crappy. I have absolutely no idea what you’re saying there… Apparently it was so bad, they deleted it! Dogarnit! We’ve got to save those listings when they show up! Though I am in the general area, I wouldn't touch it at that price. Plus, this fan first showed up in 2010 listed for $85.00, so I doubt its going down anytime soon. The fan has been listed for 5 years now? That’s outrageous! It may not be going anywhere soon, but at this rate it may not be going down in price at all either. As with most pre-2006 Hunter fans, the airflow is spectacular. Here's a video I made of one of these back in 2012: Glad to hear its better than the Oakhurst! I’ll watch the video later…

Even $65 wouldn’t be bad. Since we're talking about a Delta II here, so $65.00 (even for a rare version) is a bit excessive. $35.00 is more like it though. Fans don’t bend when you hold it by one blade. What are you talking about? Its not the whole fan that's bending. Nevertheless, its scrap metal either way Its not rendering that way on my computer. I could see why you don’t want to cut the wires. I only cut the wires on fans that I’ve installed in my house like the Brookhurst and the Waldon. I don’t cut the wires on vintage fans because I don’t know where I may put them in the future. Someone cut the wires on my Original very short, they’re only about 6 inches long, which is a shame because if I ever want to use any sizable downrod it will have to be rewired. All the fans installed in my house have the lead wires cut, however that's due to my dad being the one who actually wired them... I have absolutely no idea what you’re saying there… Fixed. The fan has been listed for 5 years now? That’s outrageous! It may not be going anywhere soon, but at this rate it may not be going down in price at all either. Who knows, in 2025 it might drop to $80.00!
