I just contacted the seller of the Casablanca Delta II. Let's hope they're serious.

Since we're talking about a Delta II here, so $65.00 (even for a rare version) is a bit excessive. $35.00 is more like it though. No, its not! You’re outrageous! Its not the whole fan that's bending. Nevertheless, its scrap metal either way I don’t know what you’re talking about, but the entire fan is in fact being. The downrod, stator, shaft, light kit, blades, irons etc. are all bending in that picture. All the fans installed in my house have the lead wires cut, however that's due to my dad being the one who actually wired them... Oh no! Still don’t get it… Who knows, in 2025 it might drop to $80.00! In 2015, it may go up because its now older! So it will be $100!

You have got one of those brass Delta II four blades? No, I don't. That ad was re-listed sometime last month, and shortly after this latest Delta II showed up. Since the price was actually lowered on this one (unlike some other ads where the price stays the same for years ) I decide to go with it instead of any of the other ones. Plus, I prefer the five-bladed Delta IIs over the four-bladed ones anyways... No, its not! You’re outrageous! I've saving up for fan hunting in the Summer, so I don't want to spend $65.00 for a Delta II at the moment. Plus, albeit an uncommon version with a reverse pull chain, it is Casablanca's most common stack motor model. My dad did a good job, don't worry. Anyways, that was years ago already, and I plan to replace almost every fan in my house with something better quality which I'll be installing myself. These never impressed me as particularly crappy. In 2015, it may go up because its now older! So it will be $100! I should hope not.

Ah that's a shame. I prefer most of plain and classic Casablancas with four blades, they went with five blades for no good reason. It's just like the Hunter Original. That particular one with the reverse pull chain and well pointed tip blades would look awesome installed with four blades. It would look even more vintage.

Being fair here, there are a number of Casablanca fans which I quite like with four blades including: - The Delta (obviously).
- The Four Seasons (Excluding the Nassau, there was never a five-blade version available).
- The Victorian.
- The Zephyr.
However with models like the Delta II, Panana and Ventura, I like to stick to five blades.

What kind of fans do you have in mind? These never impressed me as particularly crappy. Rephrasing it would probably help me understand, rather than just restating that which doesn't make sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its $35!!!!!!!!!!!! How much money have you got? I’ve got quite a bit in the fan fund. I'm saying, $53.00 isn't bad. $50.00 is pushing it though, especially for a version that I don't even like as much as this one. What kind of fans do you have in mind? Ideally: Living Room:Hunter Original in brushed nickel Family Room:Casablanca Spirit Of Saturn in white and chrome, a Casablanca Bel Air Halo in brushed nickel, or a Casablanca Panama in brushed nickel. Master bedroom:Casablanca Delta II/III in brushed nickel, or potentially a Panama. My bedroom will remain unchanged. Den:Casablanca Ventura in brushed nickel (I'll re-finish the one I already have). Rec Rom:A dual-install of Casablanca Delta II/IIIs in brushed nickel, however I could deal with a Hampton Bay Redington III if it came to that.

Ah well, it's too easy to say that you prefer these models in four blades because they are all models that came with longer brackets and that were made mostly or only in four blade. If theses older four blade models would be 4/5 I imagine with you would still install them with five blade. I wanted to know what 4/5 blade installable models you prefer with four blades. The Nassau is 4/5. It seems that you do not like models with short brackets in four blades. You only can stand them with four blades with long or Four Seasons brackets.

Alright, I don’t know if you’re messing with me or what, but you win this one. I’m too confused to go on! Ideally: Living Room: Hunter Original in brushed nickel Family Room: Casablanca Spirit Of Saturn in white and chrome, a Casablanca Bel Air Halo in brushed nickel, or a Casablanca Panama in brushed nickel. Do you have a video of the fans in your house right now? Sounds like you have potential for some good installs.

I've offered polished brass to my parents in the past and they said they wouldn't go for it (even though all our door hardware is polished brass)! Plus, I actually like brushed nickel so therefore everybody wins. No I don't have a video of the ceiling fans in my house, and have no intention of posting one until some better fans are installed
