i purchese it on late summer of 1997: fan and light kit, light bulbs and decorated chain pulls(fan did not include light kit) at home depot near hulen mall in fort worth,texas/usa
and i still have it right now(in my old bedroom at my parent's house)

I'll throw in some trivia here: When my dad had the PB Hunter Infiniti (now mine) he accidentally gave it an AB 3-light fitter. When I got the fan last year, I immediately removed it, and put a PB 5-light fitter on it.
When I first got my blue hugger (as many of you have seen), It had an AB 5-light fitter on it. The guy who had it before me used it in his dining room. Blue with AB is not a very good combo at all, and I used said fitter on a different fan. However, I do have a blue-stencil schoolhouse globe, and I think white would be the best fitter for the blue hugger. When I saw that exact blue hugger on display at Stambaugh's, it had a PB 5-light fitter on it with blue stencil globes.

Jeremy, you have a Hunter Infiniti? Cool. I generally hate light kits on fans. Especially those built-in "modern" looking fans. If it has to have one, it needs to be clean, simple, and complement the look of the fan. I like the light kit from Casablanca where the lights are right next to the switch housing. Spinners look best without anything under it, Originals the same. I don't like lights on fans because they create too much light in one section, if you know what I mean. Like how my fan is in the center of a vaulted ceiling, the light points it straight down, and it's too bright there with too much glare, while the outer sections of the rooms are too dark. I'd prefer recessed lights around the room, creating a more overcast, encompassing ambiance. The only overly large light kit I might be able to stand are these from my uncle's fan, simply because I'm used to seeing that as a kid.

yep ben c,i do got it and i still love it..
my parents don't really like my hunter infiniti as much as i do(of course i bought it and picked it out way back when i bought it and it's in my bedroom, not theres) but i get it back as soon as they get newer fans in their taste of style for that room sometimes in future(not soon cause they don't have the time/money at least not yet) but it's in their wish list.

Cool that sounds nice. I would put the passport in my parent's bedroom so they can have a fan to keep them cool during the summer months.

Wow, Shafarah, a thread you started has blossomed into three pages within a day or so. I'm proud of you. I agree with most of what JW said: On any all-brown fan, a single looks best by far - whether a schoolhouse or globe is used is not important. If it has any brass on it at all, a four- or five-light kit is acceptable as long as it matches the brass. In my opinion, there's nothing more Texan than a large restaurant, dance hall, church, or otherwise, full of brown fans with bright single lights... want proof, head down to Gruene Hall in New Braunfels (also home of Schlitterbahn, the number one rated waterpark in the world, which also sports some ridiculously cool fans if you look hard enough). For 52" fans in AB or PB - 5 lights if in the living room, 4 anywhere else (including restaurants). A single would work in a bedroom. For a white fan, it really depends on the fan and the location, but I would never put a 5-lighter on it (if it also had bright brass, it might be acceptable). Any fan 42" or smaller should use a single or a cluster, i.e. the shades attach directly to sockets on the switch housing. There are rare occasions where a full-size 4-lighter will work. I prefer single lights in bedrooms, 4 or 5 lights in kitchens and dining rooms. Unlike JW I actually like the 3 arm tulip kit, but only on certain, very vintage fans. In most cases I prefer fans without light kits at all. Certain fans look better with certain kits regardless of locations, for example, Nutone Verandas (friciton drive) need a schoolhouse globe. Casablanca Victorians need a 5 light kit. And so on.
