i know that from my experience in the HVAC department What experience, getting kicked out of it "we dont allow kids in here!" I was talking about blade pitch vs fan efficiency. Blade pitch opens up a whole 'nother factor!

No, I collect props and motors along with ceiling fans. If you haven't noticed, the more blades, the lower RPMs. the less blades the higher RPMS. The reason they do that is because more blades create more air pressure, too much in alot of cases. The reason industrial fans usually have three blades is becausr three blades are less than five or four and don't need as much effort, thats why they have big motors for higher RPMs to move more air. If a fan was six blade and had 15 degree blade pitch, you would need a very large motor to power it.

If you haven't noticed, the more blades, the lower RPMs. the less blades the higher RPMS. Depending on the speed and torque of the motor. The reason they do that is because more blades create more air pressure, too much in alot of cases. The reason industrial fans usually have three blades is becausr three blades are less than five or four and don't need as much effort, thats why they have big motors for higher RPMs to move more air. That's why Homesteads had such narrow blades.
