A few updates: To save space on the shelf, I went back to hanging some fans in the storage area behind my bedroom: I also moved a couple of my Casas back there too: And there's cardboard padding to avoid scratching: In the last update, I forgot to show my junk box:

Well half my collection is at my uncle's apartment building in a storage locker. I don't have a system but I store what I can wherever I can. I put the motor, blades, brackets, and such in the same box with each other for that fan. Sometimes I put two fans in one box. Usually they're in plastic bins on top of each other but some are in the Habitat boxes I get them in. My SMC U52 is NIB. Others are hidden in plastic boxes in various locations in my house. I have to be careful when I get new ones since my mother doesn't know I have some of these.

Due to having many fans and my very limited storage area is overflowed up to the point nearly 60 motors are scattered in my room, i decided to shift my fans to the date store since i got a good load of cartons to store my fans in... By the end of this month i will hopefully shift the majority of my fans into storage boxes and the ones for sale ready in shipping boxes!

I'm on overload with storage, and ceiling fans are not an easy thing to store.. Spinners are easy but anything with a motor housing takes alot of room up when trying to compact things into a storage bin.. I'm going to have to go into some bins that have two ge motor housings and reconfigure and put a random spinner or two in each of the boxes and then relabel them.. That's going to take a day in it's self just to do..

I usually put the fans I get NIB in my room rather than the basement. I try to keep as many fans as possible in the storage totes but I take them out when I work on them.

A few updates: To save space on the shelf, I went back to hanging some fans in the storage area behind my bedroom: That is the EXACT canopy I used on this fan:

I as well am having troubles in storing fans especially now that i passed 300 after a big hike in obtaining fans... the main issue i get with storing them is that i have a real lack of space anf nowadays i am forcing myself in occupying sections of the date store building where i mount my fans.. if u come to my room, all u will see is fans everywhere, i sometimes injure my leg or get tripped from my fans, however.. despite all the effort of storing i did
