Well, yesterday I got an old 9'' GE vortalex fan . I'll have pictures or a video when it arrives. Sounds awesome. I have both the 9" black model and the 9" brown/tan model. They are really good fans for their size. My latest find is an antique 30" KC industrial pedestal fan that I rescued from the garbage today. I'll get pics of it tomorrow. I also got one of those Galaxy tiltable box fans with the transparent blades but its labeled Sanyo. I'll get pics of that when I finish cleaning it.

found this guy in the basement kitchen under the kitchen sink! too bad it isn't operational. probably motor is dead. windings seem ok, spins freely, but no hum at all, and already checked wiring and wiring is intact :/ as you see, the fan is missing several parts.

1980 20" Galaxy. Horrible air mover, interesting looks. They could have made this fan better in my opinion. Less restrictive plastic grilles and a metal motor would have improved this fan significantly. These banana blades are amongst one of the best plastic blades for a box fan. Kudos to Hunter/R&M for using a 7-wing version.
