16-inch Galaxy from 1990. So that's 1990? My Galaxy doesn't have that style font on the grille badge. Yesh. This is a good fan I can see. No freakin' way. They don't build fans like this anymore! This is class! Hey what's behind it? Actually Toshiba still makes some awesome fans that still seems very good. (for Egypte) Check theses out: toshiba.elarabygroup.com/Category.aspx?cid=66

I'm aware of those fans for quite some time. The majority of those Toshibas are all old designs from different model years starting with 1981 up to 1984 but using the 1982 centermark guard. They are reproduced exclusively for El Araby Group. The only modern innovation is the guards which have been "modernized" by replacing the old clips to the easier-to-install guard ring. Also, the lower handle found on the wall fans is now gone. The Current Japanese-Only Toshiba fans are these and they are not even made by Toshiba;

16-inch Power House Toshiba from 1956. Actual Japanese model with a disk on the base. 12-inch Bandy A.K.A. "The Vibrator" from Taiwan from 1981 (Needs help with vibration). 9-inch Sears By Sanyo. Bigger Motor than the Blue Ones made for Lasko,Galaxy and Dayton! 6-inch TOZAI from 1984 by Hong Chia Beauty. Both guards are metal and uses clips like Lasko.

I love the green Sears/Sanyo, I need to get something like that to put in my room, since it's green and orange it would fit perfectly.

Will do Perrey. I can't get myself into anything now with buying/selling/trading, but if an opportunity comes around when I can I'll let you know and see if it's still available.

Thats a nice Toshiba. I just got this Fresh N'd Aire model 20. The shiny looking pot its on does not belong to the fan. I purchased it and it came with it but it doesnt go to the fan what so ever.
