The Hampton Bay is still a piece of crap How is it a piece of crap if it uses a large motor, blows more air than the current Hunter Original and has better quality metal parts as opposed to most Quick Connect fans Hampton Bay made? The only fans in my latest post that are real crap are the Canarm Carla's and the Hunter Highbury. Uh, you don't know what you're talking about... the Redington is good quality as far as Hampton Bays go. Exactly! Especially considering it blows more air than the current Original, it most certainly isn't crap!I was talking about the Quick connect for crying out loud!!! The redington is awesome and I like them, but I was saying the quick connect wasn't good... Until you put a 212x25mm motor inside. And FYI, you took that rant too far. Ya know, you've got a lot of nerve!

The Hampton Bay is still a piece of crap(by the way, I am talking about the Quick Connect... Until you put a 212x25mm motor in it). I think the Redington is awesome! Uh, you don't know what you're talking about... the Redington is good quality as far as Hampton Bays go. Uh, I do know what I'm talking about... And it wasn't the Redington. Redington are awesome, Quick Connects suck. There we go, all fixed.

I really lie to see all the old fans you got at your restore. It's also very nice to see what you can do with all the fans missing parts
I also like how your lighting section looks at your restore I want to do something like that at mine !
I think you should put all the fans on the same side, and all the lights on the other side.

I beg to differ, at least maybe they're different here in the US, the Quick Connect fan is seen in commercial installs on a regular basis where I am, not only do I see ones that have been in continuous use for many years, but they move decent air. That having been said, I don't think they're great high-quality fans, but I'd say they're one of the better Hampton Bay fans out there.

I hope to get one some day.

10/01/2014 A whole bunch of fans came in as donations, however there wasn't really anything that particularly stood out besides this little 36" Hunter Orbit. Because of it's sheer cuteness, I'm probably going to keep it with hopes in eventually installing downstairs in place of a drab and boring light fixture. Being that the fan has an older-style Hunter Installers Choice canopy, I'd guess that the fan was manufactured around 2003 to 2006, however there actually aren't any official labels to confirm or deny this (other than the capacitors being dated October 2003). Even though this fan happens to be a part of Hunter's Prestige Collection, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the blades are actually made out of a hardwood of sorts a hardwood of sorts! What are the blades made out of?

Jordan, they look like regular Hunter blades to me LOL. That's what I initially thought, but, then I read the description, and he states: "I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the blades are actually made out of a hardwood of sorts a hardwood of sorts!" So, they must not be regular Hunter blades...
