I guess I should update!
We still have the Uniden Loud N Clear cordless in the kitchen as our main phone.
There's a rotary corded phone in the living room in ivory, that looks like a Western Electric but says Refurbco and June 1980 on the bottom. Since it's not touch tone, it will not dial out anymore with our Comcast VoIP phone service, so we can't place a call with it. But otherwise it works, so if we're watching TV in the living room, and a call comes in, we can see it on the TV screen, and answer it with that phone. Mainly we use it as a loud ringer so we can hear the phone ring if we're outside or on the back porch.
In my room I still have my GE speakerphone, but I keep the ringer turned off... I only really use it to make quick calls once in a while, and I like having the speakerphone so if I get put on hold I can listen without holding the phone the whole time.
I had gotten a few cordless phones at Goodwill in the last few years - a Uniden with answering machine (needs new battery), a VTech with answering machine and 3 handsets (but no batteries). And most recently a Uniden with answering machine, 2 handsets and also has Bluetooth so you can use it with a landline or cell phone. It was still in box and good batteries. I had the base and 1 set on my desk for a while, but hadn't used it much, so I put it back in the box last week when I was cleaning up my room. When I move out someday, I'll probably use this set, since I may not bother to pay for a landline, but I can still use this with my cell phone and I like having cordless phones around anyway, so this'll give me a reason to have one.
Oh, and that little Uniden 900MHz phone is still in that same drawer, I'm pretty sure.
