I got this at the Delray habitat for $10.. I was in the area and didn't expect to find much.. This is just like the one I had years ago which has been long gone.. Someone thought it was Talcony back then.. I don't know if anyone has ever identified these things yet, but it does look Gulf Coast related to me.. I've noticed the flywheels on these are very flimsy.. It's got other holes which makes me think it can take 4 blades too..

Great find! Can you snap pictures of the labels? Looks CLOSELY identical to this one:

Regency sold these, as did many other labels.

It looks like the Tacony/Regency you have/had, Adam... looks like a neat fan! Nothing came up on the UL search about a manufacturer... faceplate reminds me of a Homestead's. What brand is the motor inside?

What brand is the motor inside? The motor in mine had no brand indication, though the circuit board in the switch housing said "Fan King."

I like how the pull switch is attached to the circuit board... It's a single stack switch that probably is different from the ones Lowes and Home Depot sells.. Luckily on mine there is still enough chain to add more with a connector... Odd, I wonder if this would be the same Fan King that's on some Golden Fans from the early 80s..

Let me see a pic of the pull chain switch and board.

These are cool, I like them. The switch housing is so chunky. I wish we knew exactly what they were. I see them around here from time to time. I'm a little disappointed to learn that the flywheels are very fragile. I was thinking of buying one the next time I see one on Kijiji Montréal.
It's pretty unique that piece with the pull chain and the two yellow pieces. These are capacitors? I think Casablanca uses a system a little similar. They are definitely some yellow pieces in 3 and 4 speed pull chain Casablancas.

I wouldn't say they are fragile, but they are flimsy.. You would think they would be more fragile, but everyone of these types of fans I've seen still has the flywheel intact.. I don't know what it is, but every time I see one of these, they tend to be on long down rods.. Only one I saw that is remotely like these fans that was on a normal sized down rod is that one that I didn't get with that weird canopy/bracket that was with the Emersons and the TAT deluxe I got.. I recently saw two brown ones on approx 4 foot down rods.. And two at the Stuart habitat in all brass on real long down rods.. Down rods where so long and heavy, it caused the switch housings to cave in (break) on them selves by just sitting upright..

Wow... that almost looks like a Casablanca-esque board inside a plastic casing.

These things have got to be FANKING ceiling fans.. The label on the switch compartment and the model number "FKK", I don't know what the second "K" would indicate.. It's been added to the Taiwan galleries under FANKING
