All I have is a hotel original, an industrial GE, and the brass fernleaf Longnose. I thought about the longnose for the boardroom, but I dont have blades for it. Also, too small.

The next room I'm working on requires 6-8 dark colored fans, i.e. brown or brown and antique brass. I cant think of any 6 bladers that fit the bill.
Ideas? Fans you'd like to see that fit this category?

I dont think any of them are brown/ab, and they're all 48".

Unless the plans change on me, which they tend to do, I will have three upcoming installations:
1. 7 brown/ab 52", 1 brown 36", some with lights. 2. 1 44" or smaller fan that would fit with the above installation, in an adjacent area (same way the Nutones and CBs are adjacent to the Reversairs), light not needed. 3. 4? (wont know the exact number of fans until we knock down walls and ceilings) 52" AB or PB fans. I think they will all need lights
These are big projects and I might not get to the last of them until spring or summer.
As to the suggestions:
6 Blades - I cant figure out any way to involve 6 blades in project #1. I have a 6 blade idea for project #2. More importantly, I am looking into project #3 involving some 6 blade Homesteads. I have seen TONS of 52" 6 blade stack motor Homesteads for sale over the years, I wish I had grabbed them now. If anyone has any 52" ab/pb stack motor Homesteads for sale or trade, let me know. I'd love to do a Worlds Fair install somewhere, but I would worry about flywheels, and I dont think I have two that match. Anyone selling any?
Lighted Housing - I thought about the ERS for the boardroom, but didnt have the nerve. If I was willing to put the ERS in the boardroom, would anyone think it would look better there than the ornate Sears Emerson? I dont think I have any other lighted housing fans.
TAT - the barbershop has the only TAT I have.
Emperors - I'm not wild about Emperors, and I dont think they look right without the requisite schoolhouse light. No clue where to put one, they would probably hang down too low in a classroom especially with the light. Open to ideas. I have 3 matching Evergo Emperors.
Antiques - the only antique I have that might work is the brass plated fernleaf Longnose. If I could get a set of blades made I would refurb it. It would also meet the 6 blade quota. It MIGHT work for option #2, otherwise I'd have no idea where to put it.
Homestead - Going to really try to do Homestead for #3. I would love to do 6 blade S vents but I dont own any. I'd really love to do a four fan install with sets of two that match-- say, two 6 blade Homesteads and two Worlds Fairs, all the same finish. Or two four blade Homesteads and two Parlourfans. Maybe I could do 2 6 blade and 2 4? Would that look odd in the same room?
Moss/Ritz/cast iron spinners - only place I can think of for these would be #3. Which would you rather see, Ritzes or Homesteads?
Evergo/Union spinners from old center - I'm kind of over these for now. These are my backup plan for classrooms.
WIND - I have two PB and one white. They're too modern for #3 (plus I dont like lights on them). I like WINDS best in a stairwell, actually. The ceilings are probably too low in the classrooms.
Comfort Breeze - if I can find a brown 36" then I can use this for the small fan in #1
Royalaire - cant figure out a good place for my 56". I'd love to use it somewhere.
There are 3 classrooms, 4 offices, 2 storage rooms, and one retail space in the basement that havent been addressed yet. Also 4 offices and a foyer space in the back of the salon.

hmm.. interesting airmaster! its my first time seeing them with plastic blades! are they original to the fan?
the fan seems to spin faster than the older relite/airmaster, it could probably be from the late 80s post 1987

They are original. This fan is from 1979.

The Autumaire is a good fan for this place. I don't see how it can look ''very similar in design to some of the Lasko fans made in Japan'' though. It probably goes with your idea you came up with when commenting Mistral fans that most spinners not made in Asia look like Japanese fans.

Nope, it's because I opened the motor, and was commenting on the design of the stator and motor housing.

1979? interesting! there is a chance this fan was manufactured by simplex circulume since they handled the manufacturing of relite fans between 1976 and 1980 after relite electric ltd got discontinued before relite fans ltd was established!
if u open the motor, u may find the word "simplex" close to where the bearings are!
it seems like in the 1979 version, the downrod was thinner than the mid 70s versions

This uses what looks to be a standard 1/2" downrod.
I opened the motor and didnt see Simplex. If I open it again I'll look more thoroughly.
Do you know when they first started Airmasters of this type these in the US? Was Relite the name of the company in England?
