I posted this a comment on the video but I'll put it here also, I have 2 theories about the key largos. 1. The slow one has a slightly greater blade pitch 2. The fact that the slow one is paired with a 52in fan and the fast a 38in fan may be a factor since greater diameter fans draw more current, perhaps the key largos would be more balanced if they shared a control. Blade pitch is the same, it's a trick of the eye because the blades are shaped different. I have a patch bay for these fans so I can easily switch them to any combination. I've tried every combination. The current way works best. When I group the two Key Largos together, the slower one wont start on low. did you try slow one+ 38 four seasons?

You know I think I did but I'm not 100% sure. I will later today and report back.

Continuing in the saga of inexplicable motor differences:
All four Casablancas SHOULD be electrically identical, and mechanically identical except for the blades. The Broadway has new bearings,a new cap, and varnished windings, the others have the original bearings and caps that tested good.
Both Key Largos should be electrically and mechanically identical. Both have new bearings and varnished windings. I tested both caps, both were within 5% tolerance.
Speed control groups are IRRELEVANT to spin down time, as I measure spin down time on high. Yet the pointed tip Key Largo stops first out of all six fans, and the arch end Key Largo stops last.
When I group the two Key Largos on the same control, the pointed tip fan will not start on low. When I group the pointed tip Key Largo with the 38" Four Seasons, it will also not start on low. However it WILL start on low when grouped with the Broadway, which is electrically identical to the 38" Four Seasons.
When I get time I'm going to replace the cap in the pointed tip Key Largo with a new one. I cant think of anything else that would account for the difference.

The only Davimport (GEC/Indian made) video on the web, the only Ornate Crompton Greaves video on the web, and for Zachary Yarnes, my first LED bulb: youtu.be/kJb4dtHrexc

Nice... I do believe the Davimport is indeed what was in the Schlitterbahn bathrooms.
I'm guessing you got them so close to the ceiling by moving the ceiling tile? Surely you couldn't mount them that close on a standard ceiling.

Install fan first, install ceiling tile second.
I've seen people do this with drywall, but I cant imagine how.

1/3 of the upstairs hasnt been touched. The back offices in the salon havent been touched. And almost NONE of the bottom floor has been touched.
What are some brands/models/styles of fans you would like to see? What's missing, for it to be a collector's paradise?

Could use 6 blade fan or 2, maybe lighted housing fan somewhere also. Not sure what else brand wise, tat maybe, don't think you have any emperors in 12 wings either.

I thought about Emperors. I dont normally like Emperors, if I had a really early Evergo I'd love to hang it somewhere.
Didnt think about 6 bladers, that's a good point. I've been looking for a place to put a Worlds Fair but I worry about flywheels.
Only lighted housing fan I have is an Energy Reduction Systems. I thought about it for the boardroom, but it's too rare.
