I've noticed what you're saying over on Youtube.. There's alot of videos over there that contain terrible footage of new(er) Hampton Bay and just complete junk period, and the comments under the videos are pages full.. Seems to be mostly kids, 16 and under.. Anyone who collects older stuff, which is actually collectable, no one seems to comment, maybe two or three comments I have per video, and noticed that with other people too who have old fans up. I do have lots of videos of today's fans and I'm over 16, and one of the reason I made videos of today's fans is to let people see how these fans perform before buying them.

Yeah, it would be very little (if any) effect on people who aren't into ceiling fans especially that there are already so many ceiling fan videos on YouTube and most people don't watch videos before buying things. Another reason is to entertain people (videos of cheap ceiling fans is better than no ceiling fan videos). When I have many ceiling fan videos to upload, I try uploading videos of high quality and rare ceiling fans before cheap and common ceiling fans. No one has really asked me on my videos if these fans are worth buying, but I got a comment on my Hampton Bay Bay Island video asking if a Hunter downrod fits Hampton Bay ceiling fans he's planning to buy and I told him to get Hunter ceiling fans instead but he hadn't replied back.

I only continue to post videos because I get money from them That's definitely a plus LOL. I do it because I still get some enjoyment out of putting them up for people to see, and it's a good reference for people who are interested in my collecting to look at. And because if I ever stopped the videos I would never catch up if I wanted to start doing them again...

I feel the same, and hope that others enjoy the materials we post for people to see..

I only continue to post videos because I get money from them That's unfortunate that you lost the passion. As Cole wrote I still post them because I enjoy doing it.

No, it's because I actually have to work for a living, I actually have bills to pay...a house to pay for...I don't have the luxury of having my parents take care of all my living expenses while I make 20 long videos on fans (and other weird things)...so feel free to climb off your high horse and join us back in reality!

Hello I have a worlds fair 962 ceiling fan that is in visual mint condition. My brother in law took it from his house when he moved so it was used for ten years and then boxed and put away. I bought it and put it up and it runs but I think there is an issue with the bearings. Would anyone have interest in working with it or using it for parts?
