Most residential Nutones from pre-1990, they're notorious for being slower. That's what I can think of most readily. I have a 1987 NuTone Hacienda that I would say is average on high, average on medium, and fast on low. I have a NuTone Decorator from the same period, which I would say is fast on high. I also have a 1988 NuTone Elegance that is supersonic fast on high, but I'm also running it with 4 blades though it can hold five (I don't have the fifth blade). This fan was also NIB for 28 years until I put it up five months ago.

This one literally spins like factory low when on high and medium!

The first one spins really slowly, it spins the fastest on medium setting and it's more like factory low. It also is spinning the opposite direction from what it's supposed to spin (those are non-reversible).

That one spins extremely slow on high, until I replaced the capacitor.
