Oh I see. I always like the 5 light kit on the ge vent fans. It makes them look fancy.

In general, my favorite light kits are plain schoolhouse globes, and five light kits (4 tulip shades surrounding a single globe). I also love those early 80s three-light kits common on Sears/Emerson fans. What light looks best on a ge vent fan.I personally like the 5 light or 4 light kit on them. What do you all think? Depends what kind of GE-vent fan. If it's an older one with 4 wide blades, then I'd say a single generic schoolhouse globe...if it's a five blader (especially with cane ), then I'd say a 5 light kit - 4 tulip shades surrounding a single round globe. ;D Well, that's true. For the older four blade ge vent I rather put on a four light on it and it makes it so pretty. I agree with the 5 blade ge vent fan.

I like 5 blade GE Vents if they're OLD, otherwise I prefer 4.

Only like 5 if it's like pre-1990 at the very, very latest...

I prefer 4-blade GE-vent fans in general, but some of the 90s five-blade ones are cool to me since they're childhood fans.

I prefer the 5 blade ge vents but I admit that 4 blade ge vents are cool, too.

I like multiple lights (4 or 5) because I have very big openings (high ceiling rooms) which tends to require multiple sources for illumination to make it bright enough. Only a handful of walk-in closets have simple schoolhouses with daylight white CFL because the spaces are small and certain areas where modern matching decor is essential have bowl-type modern fans like the Brookedale or Alida or the old Spirit of Saturn ring lights which are purposely done for a more mood accent illumination.
Shoe-print fans? they look nice. I don't have a single one yet but they do look like. My preference however is for the traditional GE-vent type.

which fans look best with a three light kit? I know some huggers look great with them or other fans look great with theme too.

I personally would never use a 3-light kit on a 4-bladed fan.
It looks out of proportion.

Really? Maybe three light kits would work on 30 inch fans better. since 4 or 5 lights look alot better on 4 or 5 blades fans.

I like 3-light kits on 42" or smaller 4-blade fans. I think my Yuson hugger looks pretty good with the three-light kit it came with, even though it's a 4-bladed fan: Anything bigger than 42" should have a 4 or 5-light kit in my opinion.
