They're decent by today's standards. I'd still much prefer a Moss or something instead.

I like Dixie Belles and the Quorums both mentioned. I also like the Broan Mastercraft!
I find it kinda cool how Hunter has the models that kinda look like GE Vents but with a modern twist.

Dixie Bells are decent fans by today's standards. Definitely one of the better GE-vent fans made today. However, I'd still prefer something vintage though, like a Casablanca Zephyr or Moss Heirloom... I find it kinda cool how Hunter has the models that kinda look like GE Vents but with a modern twist. I agree - I like the concept.

I agree on what you said. I would like a Palm-Air Ge Vent 5 blader.

I thought Dixie Belles are cute fans. I like the ab color on them the best with the 5 light on them. What do you think?

I wished that I had a Dixie Belle fan a 52 inch size and a small one for my room.

Out of the box, It's an OK fan. I use to sell them. They have good steel gauge housings and centerbands, Iron blades arms instead of pot metal. Still, they will break if you toggle them. The motors are 188 X 15mm. with 14º blade pitch. The switch cup is removable for optional remote control attachment.
I have 4 of them with 188 X 20mm motors that somehow got shipped with the wrong motors and I got them.

Wow really? very nice fans indeed. any colors that you like about the dixie belle? The only ones I like are the only ones I have; Polished Brass., Antique Brass, Chrome and Snow White. In addition to solid-packed finishes, you could also custom made your own by using a Polished Brass fan with a Chrome or Snow White center band or Snow White fan with a Polished Brass or Chrome center band. it was really neat how you could play with those center bands. Nowadays, they are made in China instead of Taiwan which required new machines and molds per Chinese regulations so the old center bands won't fit the new units (motor housings) and current center bands are NLA as a replacement.
