What do you think ge vent crane blade fans having 5 lights all over the sides? Like the traditional style? It's one of my all-time favorite combos because is a classic no-fuzz combination. But since modern decor plays a huge role in the (ceiling fan/lighting) industry they don't get to match with what you might have in today's decor cues. I have some like that here but they happen to have 6-blades. But as I mentioned above, they don't match with everything so they are installed in bedrooms with matching decor. Have you ever seen the (GE Vents) with glass centerband?

hey any one know the first year that the dixie belle was first made? Yes. It dates back to 1987 as a Gulf Coast. It had pretzel-style blade arms back then.

I have a 1985 Gulf Coast catalog that proves otherwise. These are the earliest ones that I've personally seen. No pretzel brackets either. The only dixie belles ive seen with pretzel brackets are the late 80s/early 90s versions.

Lol, the motor housing is a "full 10 millimeters greater in diameter"! WOW!!!
I seem to recall a Dixie Belle ad even older than that showing either a sketch or a picture of a Loyal. They claimed it moved 20,000 CFM (very doubtful about that).

I worked as an assistant manager for Dan's Fans City 2-years ago and went to two bi-annual meetings where I met the current owner which happens to be the son of the founder and he told me, it dates back to 1987 and even showed me a catalog with the fan in it having pretzel blade arms. If your photo with NO DATE proofs different then let's take that as documentation for it then... These (GCF) have a long trajectory of changes that only company-issued data and catalogs can provide accurate information. I can only speak from what I've learned during my tenure with the company.

I see. The Store that I worked at had 5 of those Georgianne with White centerbands in the windows. They were made by Ralada.
Know the story behind the Georgianne name?
That fan was named after Dan Hibbeln Sr.'s partner Georgianne Woods. Her Son Steven, is currently second in command at DFC stores told me that. Currently Dan jr. and his sister Brenda run the business.
