What if the Fasco was brown in place of white?

Not sure how I feel about white/brass in there.

If you go with the FASCO, I'd say brown as you suggested. I like the Nutone as well though, I think either would suit just as well as the Homestead.

Hopefully when I get your Homestead 38" tightweave cane to you, Dan, I might be able to get that plain Homestead... I don't mind if the blades are plain, I just love little Homesteads (and I want to replace my NuTone Slimline with something cooler). Don't mind if it's noisy since it'll always be on low.

Welp . . . less than a week after posting this thread, I found out I would have to move. The previous place, I lived there two years and didnt put fans up until my last month. I never put up my track lighting. I decided I didnt want to make the same mistake at the new place. I've already got the bulk of the work done. Living room: There was never a question of what fan I would put here. The only question was the downrod length. This is a 1' downrod and I think I'm sticking with it: The kitchen is why I was asking about small huggers. This is the 5 speed model pictured on ToViewFans with 21" oak blades and an LCA. I'm debating swapping it for a Slumber Quiet or IT version. Also, I intially installed it with 21" blades until I found the 17". I actually really liked it as a 48" even in this small area. I MIGHT switch it back, but probably not: Hallway: I chose this over the Vanity Fair because it will likely run on medium or high 24/7/365. There's not great circulation between the living room/kitchen and bedrooms otherwise: Spare bedroom/office: I'm completely sold on this fan, however I have yet to decide what to do about lighting in this room: I will post a picture of the fan in my master bedroom tomorrow. There's also a laundry room I havent done anything with yet. I want to change the lighting somehow, as well as put in a fan. I might not get to this right away. Let me know what you think!

I have no idea what prompted me to put this in my bedroom. It's not what I would normally pick for my bedroom, or really anywhere in my house, but I love it. Now I just need some dark bookcases and wood paneling! As of right now, all of these fans are operating on standard on/off wall switches. I could replace them (except the kitchen) with variable or 3/4 speed wall controls, and the kitchen with an IT motor. Not sure if it's necessary. All the controls are within reach. I can get a decent low speed on all of them except for the hallway and kitchen, and those usually stay on medium. I know I want to keep the bedroom one on a pullchain, I can sit up in bed and reach it.

Like I said, LOVE the new place and the fans you chose. Tara is amazing there.

Nice fan choices! I like the IT control but it takes a lot of wiring and the pull chain works better in a kitchen IMO.

Great choices! The Tara looks AMAZING installed in the living room, and the track lights add the perfect amount of light. The Casablanca in the kitchen also looks great, and it fits well.
I do like that Emerson in the bedroom too - seems like it would make a good overnight runner!

Actually IT would involve no additional wiring, but I wouldnt be able to use a CFL.
Thanks guys. My old old place had 4 fans and the track lighting, I could have MAYBE had 5 fans. My old place had 3 fans. I could have done 7 and the track lighting but I never got to it. This new place can fit 6 fans and the lighting and I plan to use them all.
My last place was a lot larger and I miss it, especially the huge kitchen and the third bedroom (office). But I feel more at home here already.

All of these look great! I really love the Four Seasons (those go well in kitchens, I think) and the tiny Monterey in the hallway.

Anyone think the Four Seasons should be 48"?
