Looks GREAT so far! Hope the flywheel on the Tara lasts you for a while.

What in the world kind of finish is on that Tara? I can't tell if it's brown, antique brass, antique copper, or bronze.

I love all of your choices, each fairly unique. I was wondering about the finish on the Tara as well, looked like brown/AB, but then I wasn't sure.

Tara is standard AB. The sideband is lighter than the rest of the fan.
Flywheel is already starting to sag. I did not notice until I installed it.

Very nice fans! I like your choices as well.
I can see that the flywheel on your Tara is droppy and theses must be pretty Jello-like. I suppose you don't allow yourself to run it on full speed? My Casablanca Zephyr from 1980 still have it's original flywheel and it's a pretty Jello-like one and two of the blades are warped so I never really run it on high. There is no problem for medium though.
I agree that the finish on the Tara is confusing. It's looks like antique brass but darker than a regular antique brass.
The Casablanca Four Seasons is very cute. I love it! What kind of downrod your using for it to be so close to the ceiling without having a LCA?

I havent run it on high yet, but I will. I will turn it up gradually from low.
The Four Seasons has that kit Casablanca offered before the LCA. I cant remember what it's called.

I already ran my Zephyr on high but for not more than 5 mins. It seemed that it would have been okay but still do I need that much air? Usually not. The problem with it is not the flywheel that is too weak but the fact that two of the blades are warped which makes the fan wonky and cause more flex on the flywheel. That very cool that Casablanca kit. It looks much better than a LCA.

Yeah I RARELY run my home fans on high, especially when they're variable speed.
In my church, on the other hand, many of the fans run on high whenever the building is used.
