Kind of concerns me since my rental property has the Grayton I in the master bedroom. Think we should take it down and put something in its place? Just for the peace of mind, replace it with something less cheaper. You don't want to deal with a possible fire starter that may cause you trouble in the future.

Just for the peace of mind, replace it with something less cheaper. You don't want to deal with a possible fire starter that may cause you trouble in the future. Contacted my parents about that fan. They said when the current guy living there moves out, they'll replace it. The guy says he never uses it. Which in any case, even IF he never uses it, I still think my parents should go in there anyway and pull it off the ceiling. Since this is a rental property, I don't think my parents want to put anything much more expensive than $70 worth of a fan (about the price my Harbor Breeze Springfield cost) at a small 48" or less size. The sad part is, I won't be there to see it get replaced.

Maybe move the Springfield to the vacation house and get something new for yourself Ha! The master bedroom at the rental property is nearly the same size of my bedroom! Yes it is a SMALL house! Besides, the ceilings are also low, and the Springfield with the light kit would be hitting people's heads if they're anywhere near 5 foot 7. But hey, if the Springy goes out, I'm putting up my Barcelona spinner! ;D

Have we confirmed the issue was a Rite Hite fan? http://instagram.com/p/BXlKConAwTa It was installed in 2017, the other fans in that building were already there before that. The owner even says Rite-Hite. And the article says ceiling fan installed in 2017.
