Hey guys. Some of you might remember me from the "other site"as Austin K. I since left that place and went to the AFCA and now I decided to join here. I am more of a portable fan collector but I do pick up an old ceiling fan I like when I see it. Currently I have a CEC spinner, a 1973 Hunter Original, and a 1962 Heher Shoo Fly ceiling fan. As for my portable fan collection, I have about 400 portable fans all of which are antique fans. I used to collect those newer plastic fans but ever since I left the"other site" I stopped and have been throwing them away or giving them to the thrift store. Some of my favorite fans in my collection are, my 1902 Pancake Fan, my 1911 MESCO battery fan, my Direct Current 16" Diehl, my Diehl Pullman Car fan, my GE Kidney Oscillator, my GE collar oscillator, my 1912 R&M Tank fan, my R&M speaker fan, and my 20cyc GE quiet blade fan. I am going to enjoy this place.  |

Welcome! Hope you enjoy yourself in our small but growing quickly portable fan section.
If you still have any of those "plastic" fans you want to get rid of let me know, I may be interested in something you've got.

Hello collectors. You might know me from the "other site" and the AFCA. I have since joined here to stay after leaving the "other site" for my own personal reasons. Will not state them here though as it is unneeded. Just like Austin above, I am a portable collector but I do have a thing for some ceiling fans. I have a few ceiling fans at the moment, some of which I am keeping and others going to a friend. Other than those, I have about 130 portable fans, give or take. I eventually plan to post them all here for the ones interested. I wish to share my knowledge and learn more about my hobby.
