24th, 1999 SMC 100% complete, in a wonderful condition pull chain non-original I actually kind of like this... 26th, 2004 Canarm Mystic bpt. in wonderful condition, 100% complete, except for downrod 100$ retail value The fact that Canadian Tires sells these for $99.99 new is insane! 27th, Canarm from the early 90's, no sticker on top Light shades non-original, as the fan came with none how I got it ........ This would have been one of the last TAT-made Canarms. 28th, I don't know about this one. no sticker, might be a Kendall or an Heritage, or also a Canarm powerful mini-fan That's a rather unusual mix of parts. Would you mind taking a close-up picture of the motor? Also went to 2 hardware stores. First one, was divided in 3 parts, first part was the original one, the other two were extensions. first one had a Four Seasons Venair, Second part , this unknown industrial, this part had 3 fans third part, 36" Canarm industrials this part had 5 of them I love this install. The blades on the unknown industrials don't look original. Another hardware store, all Canarms Notice how they have two Canarm CP56s on display...

Very nice SMC.
That Canarm could pass for original with those shades.
Very nice fans in the hardware store.
The 4 Saisons is very cute, I love it. I see this one has a metal upper canopy. I have two of this model from 1981 with plastic upper canopies. One brown 107 cm, one white 132 cm. This one looks 107 cm.
I have seen this large metal blade fan before. It's made by MEC. I don't know if they were sold by this brand here. The canopies are in the wrong place. The blades are original.
What are the names of those hardware stores and where are they located?

Max, the smc had grey blades, I think they look a bit blue. I like that fan too.
The canarm was made somewhere between 1990 and 1994, I'm not sure it was made by TAT,
When I was young, the retail value of the mystic was 49.99, and on sale the price was 24.99
for the last fan, sorry I can't provide this picture.
They have 2 canarm industrials, but notice their downrods lenghts... One of them is sold with the traditional downrod, the other one with a longer downrod.
Jean, I thought too the canarm could pass for original, as it looks like a canarm OMNI WH, or a canarm jasper,
The 4 seasons had the typical sticker on top of bottom canopy I remember they had another 4 seasons with a light kit that was replaced with a newer canarm cp56
both in valley field, bmr and patrick morin's hardware store

29th, 1988 NADAIR Heritage Blades have cane on the other side, which was originaly facing down. What was strange about the light kit is that it had two intensities, the normal bright one, and a lowered one, as seen in the pictures, so the light kit was bright-lowered-off bright lowered 30th, 1995 Kendal Quantum very, very yellowed, but turned up not that bad how I got it after the cleaning 31st, 2009 MONTE CARLO Discus in Roman Bronze, the light shade was badly scratched, Retail value of around 300$ around here, How I got it 32nd, 1995 CANARM "Mercury" In beautiful condition 33rd, 2005 outdoor WESTINGHOUSE, Blades brackets were out of balance, when turning, the motor had a bad noise pull chain switch was broken switch housing was bent and loose I decided not to keep it. It had plastic blades, Pictures in magazine, 1983, four seasons venair 1989

Quite like that Nadair Heritage.. would definitely prefer it with cane.. That is quite an odd light.. I don't think I've ever seen that before..
The magazine pictures are neat.. some of them are really fantastic installs..

That is awesome that you found a light kit hat has intensities that actually lower the wattage like a dimmer instead of turning off two of the four lights.
It's nice that this Canarm Mercury copy was made this late and for the same year that is early for a Kendal Quantum. No wonder why it has a regular switch housing.
Those ads for La foire du ventilateur are awesome! I love that 4 Saisons. I have the same with teak blades. This one seems to have two metal canopies though. Mine has a plastic upper canopy.
It's funny how that AB 4 Saisons Classic is shown with only one pull chain.
I wonder what is that chunky AB fan. It looks like to have five blades and a variable speed control.

34th, 2005 Canarm Grand Murano AB, The fan was in beautiful condition and was well maintain over the years, It was very clean ! 35th, 1986 4 Seasons Montego AB At some point the blades were painted white. cane on the other side. *They perfectly painted both side of the blades but the plain side was facing down light kit and light shade are not original. I sold the fan the same day As i tested it. I was testing it and someone wanted it, so I took it down, This is why I don't have any better picture of it pull chains pendants are not original, but came with the fan 36th, 1988 Banvil capacitor was burned. I went to a friend's house They only had one fan, This guibb in the master bedroom. House was built in 1985 or 1986 and I think it's original to the house also went to an animals supplies store The store was not that big but had 12 fans the 6 in the front were on a forward low, the 6 in the back were on a reverse low.

That is quite a peculiar light on that Four Seasons spinner..

The newer 1986-1987 version of the 4 Saisons Montego is really not common hence why we don't see them much in antique brass or polished brass.
Did you replaced the capacitor in the Banvil?
The Guibb fan would be a little newer, probably around 1989.
That installation at the Mondou store looks so much like the one at the Centre d'animaux Nature in Pointe-Claire.

That Four Seasons Venair Montego actually doesn't look terrible with the white blades. Also, seeing all of this makes me feel self-conscious for not posting in the ReStore thread The Guibb fan would be a little newer, probably around 1989. That would certainly make more sense.

On the montego, I know it's a particular light, but I knew someone would love it.
I didn't replace the capacitor, I kept all the pieces for another fan
so all of those stores have ceiling fans in them ?
Nax, Of course you should post in your thread ! I love to see what you get

And it was 40$ , and yes it's a very cheap fan. I can't beleive that people pay that much for a fan like that
