That's funny that you post this. I just came back from my local Réno-Dépôt myself and saw that new Legrand 4-speed controller. I love how the on/off button is separated from the speed selector. That look like a recent store judging by the type of ceiling. Mine is one of the early ones from 1995. Where is this one?
I've been thinking about getting one of the current Leviton Decora four speed ceiling fan wall control. It's really nice how they now sell four speed versions instead of three.
I love how the brushed nickel Westinghouse Industrial came back on the shelves. They had stopped selling it at some point.
Still it's not like shopping in the pre 2005 days before Réno-Dépôt was owned by Rona. They had so many special and different brands like Nadair, Encon, Casablanca, Landia and Air Wiz. After 2008, when Nadair stopped offering ceiling fans, it got even more boring.

I wouldn't touch about 90% plus of the fans on that display. The controls and the Canarm and Westinghouse Industrials are nice though. Jean, This is the Candiac location, built in 2008. It was remodeled somewhere around 2013
I really like the whole selection of Legrand controls !
I really like the control you want to buy
I remember when they had a very big lighting display, that was the good old time..

I like the display at the store, its so neat and organized compared to how the Home Depot and Lowes around here do it.

The fan times I've bought fans at the Home Depot its like a wild goose chase trying to find which box goes to what fan because there's just no order whatsoever.

I really like the control you want to buy I remember when they had a very big lighting display, that was the good old time.. It's cool to know that they still built new Réno-Dépôt locations that recently. Most of them were opened in the mid 1990's. The two first ones opened in 1993, my local one along with another one, Laval I think, in 1994 and a few others in 1995. I love the new Legrand control too but I didn't get why they had it only in a 3-way version. It's still very expensive for the moment but they might low in price at some point. The style and proportions changes from what we usually see with the Decora and standard styles. Legrand is a brand from France so the proportions are more squarish instead of a rectangle as switches in France trend to be squared. (the same for most of Europe and Africa) I actually prefered the big flat display even though it was messy.

Since they did changes in the lighting section last year it's very tidy indeed but I don't like how so many fan models are vandalized and how they are now installing the Canarm CP56 to save on space.
Max, Air Wiz had some fans similar to some Banvils. They had two different large size four blade sail cloth blade fans with lights included. They had a fan that looks exactly like a Banvil Tropical Breeze 120 cm with light and at least two Gerbar brazilian style fans. One was chrome with transparent blue blades. It was around 2004-2006 that they had fans of this brand.

I don't like that a lot of the fans are all bent up either, but this unfortunately is a common trend in ceiling fan displays at both the Home Depot and Lowes as well. The Canarm install is particularly bad though...

I too, prefer a flat display, I like it when every fan has it's place When I was younger, my local Rona had a very large display Each fan had a lot of space.
In another, bigger Rona, they had all the fans on different downrods Some fans were on, it was amazing.
I love how the switches are in a square shape. It's very symetric and I love that.
Jordan, you're right. I don't really like it too

Also, I've been meaning to ask. Would you mind posting some close-up pictures of that PowerMax fan at Wal-Mart? I'd be curious to see the import/export information.
