Just for fun, I put the other set of glass on my Yuson hugger. These are the other shades that came with the fan. You can see the shades that I originally put on the fan in the background of pictures 1 & 3. Enjoy! Oh yeah - by the way if you don't already know, I changed the light bulbs in there a while back to these CFLs rather than 3 different bulbs: [a href=" "] [/a] Anyway, here are the pictures: [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] Which shades do you think look better? These: [a href=" "] [/a] Or these: [a href=" "] [/a]

Yes, Jimmy, you did show me your cane blades before. I agree they may be Yuson or CEC. Nice blades anyhow! I believe they were mentioned earlier in this thread. ;D

I just acquired a set of 4 NOS 21" oak blades that have little stickers labeled Yuson.

Yeah - the blades on my Yuson have little white stickers on the plain side of the cane blades. Yours are probably very similar blades, John. ;D

Just for fun, I uploaded some old videos I took of my Crest 2000 Series. That fan is currently in storage, so sorry I can't do a video with narration. Both are of the fan running on low. Here's the first one I took with my phone with sound: [a href=" "][/a] And here is the video I took with my soundless but better resolution camera: [a href=" "][/a] Interestingly, the light kit ONLY works properly when the fan is on low speed. This is because this fan only has one wire going in and one going out. The light is on the same circuit as the fan. The light draws too much current when the fan is on high or medium. The light does not work at all when the fan is off. However, if the light is off, the fan works properly on all speeds. Anyway, enjoy the videos! ;D

Very bad and cheap idea, I did not know they were any fans at all made this way. Hey but what you want its Crest. What wattage are you bulbs. 3x40W or 3x25W? Try lower wattage bulbs for just fun. Do you have any 15W bulbs?

Jean- Glad you like my other (Picture 6) shades. Actually, I didn't break one, they came like that. I like those shades, too! Ironically, I don't think my Crest fan was always wired like this - I wonder if someone yanked out the light kit power supply wire? There was evidence in the switch housing that someone was messing with the wiring when I got it (wires were disconnected). Cool fan anyhow! BTW, I used 3X25W bulbs in there. ;D

Heres a re-post of the pics everyone! Theses fans are already pretty rare so imagine in polished brass how RARE they must be. So that one is the same that Dan have with 4 spots light kit. Your gonna get it Mike? Why did you post it in Rick's thread?

Hey Jean, I posted in this thread cause I was speaking with Dan about it a few pages back. But yeah, this is the same one that Dan has with the 4 spotlights. But I think I remember him saying he may have to dig around to see if he still has the switch housing cap. I hope so, lol. Either way, I think it looks awesome.
