They must be 48", I can't really tell. The motor housing is so small with the big switch housing, and that's throwing off my blade span size. That's gonna sound confusing, but those really have wierd proportions. It's strange, the Cambridge was a fairly common model around here. I remember many houses with them as a child, and of course these ones.

The fans are 50". If they were 48", the brackets would resemble those of the four seasons.

GREAT setting on the Casas. I agree they look smaller than 50" but I believe they are 50".
You should offer to replace the flywheels for them.

True, but replacing the flywheels is better than the fans getting junked.

If no one fixes the flywheels one day the management might decide "hey, these fans dont work, let's replace them" and you come back and they're gone.

If no one fixes the flywheels one day the management might decide "hey, these fans dont work, let's replace them" and you come back and they're gone. And this is why it is a good idea to inquire about said non-working fans. If the management knows someone wants them and/or if someone is willing to replace them, one might very well get the fans.

I'm working on it guys, there were only teenagers working that night, as business is slow with the flood and all. I'm going to try to get ahold of the management, I'd replace them with some Heritage huggers. ;D

More again, I'm really getting around this week. First, Nutone Slimlines. The ones pictured are in the night club area of a local restaurant. The older two have canopies that appear to be Veranda canopies. The two with three lights are identical to the five that are in the actual restaurant area. There is also a Broan GE vent, with the flat canopy in the restaurant restroom hall thing. Sorry, no flash DAMN, I went to the Ace hardware store that's near Habitat today to get some Zoom Spout Oiler, and found that they had remodeled! I was pissed off, as today I was going to ask for the fans they had installed if they were removed. There were two cool industrials with a brass nut on the center, straight blades, spun really fast and moved good air. I've never seen any like them before. There was also some randomly placed Tatung spinner, I think that's what it was. Now they have six Envirofan Silver Lines, all placed in even places. I hate how the lower canopies on these don't go down any further, it makes it almost pointless.

They put cool light kits on those Slimline. Their motor looks so small. The lower canopies can go all the way down on these Silver Lines, its just that they did not push all the way down. They appear to be common in your area. Did the previous Industrial with the brass nut and straight blades looked like this Moss: www.vintageceilingfans.com/mosstropicalbreezetf-348industrialceilingfans.htmlThe second one with streight blades.

they are nice but the one with the single globe looks...odd. i learn something in fan collecting over the pass 9 years..when you see and building vacant or ready for renovations with ceiling fans, always keep your eyes on it!!!! for instants i remember back in 2002 when the mcdonalds closed there were four fasco first generation charleston inside. i ask the the manager whats going on and he told me that the store was getting ready to be demolish. i ask for the fans and he said if you can take them down you can have them. without futher due the store was around the coner from my house and i was one bike and i tookn them down and brung them to my house. they were working fine and in fair conditon. two of them needed a new pullchain and all of then needed to be cleaned!!! don,t ask what happen to them now.
