I've gotten some pics of fans in my area, and I still have MANY more to get, but I'll just start with the ones I have for now. First, pics from Thief River Falls, Minnesota, where my grandparents live: A Blender Fan from my uncle's fire house, there are four total Moss Caribbean Breeze from the Best Western Hotel in the pool area, I think it was the first fan installed in that area. A brown industrial fan in the same pool area, there used to be five others, with the Moss, but they have been damaged over the years, only three remain, one of witch runs. Another was replaced with a Westinghouse industrial, witch I don't think even works, and another has just the brown downrod and canopies there, no motor or blades. This hotel is so 70's, it's awesome! They also have Hunter Summer Breeze's in the eating area. Now into Fargo, there is a store called Antique Furnishings downtown, and it has two Casablanca Slumber Quiet Victorians. It is a very cool install, I may have better pictures in time, but the store was busy that day and people were staring. This is a Victorian, right? I wasn't exactly sure. If not, what is it? I'm also going to get pics of a cool 70's strip mall that has a Hunter Grapeleaf type thing in it, only the one, in an interesting setting.

VERY cool pics. You should try to get the nonworking fans.
I believe those Victorians are K63 (pre SQ)

I want to ask the hotel if I could have them or if they could save them for me if they get replaced next time I go. I suppose my grandma could pick them up too, she has breakfast there every once in a while.
That's cool about the Victorians. They're older than I thought then. When I go to that store again I would like to see if I could get them too, they never are turned on. Only the lights get used.

I read your age, you're 14? Have an adult ask for you. They often dont take teenagers seriously.
OR, have cash in hand when you make the offer.

Yes, 14 is correct. Those are my thoughts exactly, usually my dad asks and tells people I collect fans and they are very interested in it and are more willing to sell. Right now we're in the process of trying to get some industrials out of a gas station that's being remodeled, but there's no one to contact and we can't get in.

NICE I like the Moss Caribbean 48''. And I'm surprised to hear that they are in a Best Western Hotel. Usually those chained Hotels don't have ceiling fans in them. At least especially in the bedrooms. But just to see those sort of exposed concrete ceilings and spot lights we can clearly see its an older Best Western.
Is the brown Industrial a Nutone?

Many hotels around here have fans in the meal and pool areas.
I'm not sure what the brown one is, anyone?

Many hotels around here have fans in the meal and pool areas. I'm not sure what the brown one is, anyone? Looks like a Nutone.. but alas, it isn't. It's actually a Contech, note the lower canopy.

Contech or similar. Actually some Nutones used that lower canopy near the end, but the blades and motor arent exactly Nutone either.
Best Western hotels often have fans over the pool. Many older hotels have fans in the restaurant, some even have them in the lobby. I'll start a thread for this.

Yes, the Best Westerns around here have fans in the pool area as well, placed at very random locations,I can't remember what they are right now. The one in the pictures is cool because it's such a HUGE pool area, and I mean cool literally, the water if freezing.

I'm heading out to the grocery store with the many industrials now, pics to come later! Now that I think about it, I don't think they are Envirofan Gold Lines, but something similar.

Sorry, another delay for the pics. My picture browser is down and I have to reload it. The fans were not Envirofan, they had a tag, but I couldn't read it. Some of them have met balloons, and have been replaced by a Canarm/HRS, Nutone Proline, and an unknown. Pics will be coming as soon as the browser reloads.
