Nice catalogs Troy! I remember some of those JC Penny catalogs. I have one buried in a box in the basement in my parents house, and I still have a whole bunch of smaller fan catalogs that I got from Hechingers and Home Depot many years ago. I believe I still have a lot of old Hunter catalogs, but they're somewhere in my parents' house again.
In some of those catalogs it has pics of fans from Beverly Hills Fan Co. Weren't they also called LA Fan Co? I have a catalog of LA Fan Co fans and they're the same as the ones listed as BH Fan Co in your catalogs. Odd that they'd go by a different name.

Figured, I just think it's weird that they'd go by two different names. They had some interesting fans from what I remember. I think they had one called 'the bank fan' or something.

I used to have all of those early 90s catalogs. If I'm not mistaken, they are all from 1992, give or take a year. As much as I dislike Broan, they had some very interesting designs for JC Penney, and I'd still love to find one of those 6-blade ones with the weird brackets, flush mount or not.
Thanks for sharing... is there any chance you can get some clearer pictures of some of the more blurred shots?

This brings back a lot of memories since I had some of the aforementioned catalogs. I have the AB 5 blade 52" Sears hugger and the white/AB Sears Saturn copy (the spotlights are out of place on it). I haven't hung said fans yet, but will do so as time permits.

Very nice. I really like the Ge Vent fans including the ones with the bear claws. I would buy them in a heartbeat if they sold them again.

Wow thanks for the catalogue. The TOC on the first pics are those Emerson or Lasko? Apparently Sears have sold both. I love the 5 lights light kit on it. Pierce have the same fan with the same light kit. Those wicker light kits looks really cool too. But Those 3 bladed Blenders looks awful. Wow they even had the 1886 Series! And with white blades! Pierce have also mentioned those fluorescent colored fans too. They had a lot of fans with clear plastic blades. I hate those. The first catalogue seems to be from the early 80s. Most of the others ones seems to be from the early to mid 90s. Do you know the year of the very last one? Its of course from at least 2002. AH! The mistery of the Banker fans is solved. They had many different types of glass available for them. Even one with a lighted canopy! I've already seen a 6 bladed 52'' hugger with a central tulip light kit and weird brackets. I was wondering what it was. Now I know. What brand were all those JC Penny fans? Like most of Dept Stores they have a lot of huggers but still they had some great quality fans. C'mon all those Hunter and Emerson plus the Stratos fan. I would also like to get better pics of the blurry pics in the middle.

The TOC on the first pics are those Emerson or Lasko? Apparently Sears have sold both. All of these are Emerson; they switched over to progressively more Lasko parts, including the motor, later on. They had a lot of fans with clear plastic blades. I hate those. Me too... the smoke tinted plastic blades and the marbled blades were a couple of early 90s things that thankfully never took off. The absolutely clear plastic (i.e. no smoke tint) did last for a while, and it's something I could live with I suppose. There are some scans of Homestead fans floating around that not only had the smoke tinted blades (and motor parts, if I remember correctly), they were accented with either primary or neon colors. Some of the ugliest color combinations ever on a fan, IMHO. The first catalogue seems to be from the early 80s. Most of the others ones seems to be from the early to mid 90s. Do you know the year of the very last one? Its of course from at least 2002. You are right on all counts, except that I don't know the year of the last one. All but the first Sears catalog and the last catalog are from around 1992, as I stated previously. I've already seen a 6 bladed 52'' hugger with a central tulip light kit and weird brackets. I was wondering what it was. Now I know. What brand were all those JC Penny fans? A very good number of them, including the 6-blade fans with odd brackets, are Broan.
