Oh yeah so those are the 5 bladed fans in your class room you were telling us about that one have a bent brackets and the other one makes a noise.
I agree its a weird combination. 5 stencil blades with detachable switch housing. That kind of plains sideband with a detchable switch housing tells that the fan is not that old. At least early 90s.
Your lucky to have these nice fans in your classroom. Those drop down ceiling are pretty clean and not yellowish. A How old his your school?
A 5 bladed Ge vents with plain sideband and detachable switch housing fans that I know is the Casablanca La Verne but its does not have stencil blades.

that isn't my classroom, it's a different one. I'm thinking they're probably builderfans. also I oiled that noisy fan, it's very quiet now. my school is OLD, from the late 50's

as for the fan age, I'm actually thinking very late 80's or early 90's

They're very generic except the stencil. I really dont have a clue. Maybe Thomas Industries or Cool Breeze.

i wish my school had ceiling fans in classrooms. Then again, they would be vandalized to hell.

My school had no AC so we would have loved fans. I doubt anyone would have vandalized them, since we would have been very appreciative!

In my Elementary we have two white Canarm Industrials 56''(3 metal curved blades) per class facing the south side of the school only. The north side classes have no ceiling fans. Of course there is no AC in the classes so yeah the fans were appreciate.
My high school have no ceiling fans at all but we have central AC.
Yeah your class have the same fans as the two ones in the first pics. But I hope that no one ever had the idea to turn on the one missing the blade. Do you at least still use the one with all its blades?

There's only one school in town I know has fans in the classrooms. They have an assortment of CEC's, Mosses, Evergos, Heritages, and anything else sold at Kmart or Menards in the 80s.

Running fans with a missing blade is pretty cool to see. It goes all over the place. I've tried it on my fan. It doesn't do much because of the weak motor.
In my school, there's no A/C, and the heat works only when we don't want it to. The classrooms are cooled via normal fans (i.e. desk, box, stand, floor, etc.).
There's a couple older ones, like the Galaxy box in my algebra 2, which came over from my last year's room. There's a 9" gray and metal Lasko desk fan. There's the Galaxy table fan i posted a while back. My history class has a holmes 16" stand fan with a missing leg and grill. He says that it "only works if no one is stupid enough to stick their fingers in there, and if you lean it against the wall a certain way so it doesn't fall over". In the back, he as a newer lakewood box. There's several vintage industrial stand fans in the kitchen. There's a really old Hunter box on a stand. I think it's from the 50's. My school actually has some pretty cool fans.
Oh, that reminds me. My old catholic school that i went to for kindergarten had two antique industrial stand fans. They were open grill, and had 2 blades that looked like scythes. They were incredibly dangerous and unsafe. They were within reach for a 5 year old too. My kindergarten teacher also had an antique desk fan. I don't remember much, but it was really high up, had metal blades, and was really loud. The 1st grade teacher next door had an old box fan with metal blades.
