Sure is, But not around here, West Palm Beach sucks. At least it does now. People don't go out here anymore to listens to the sounds of DJs. Ft Lauderdale, and Miami are the places to go. Unfortunately to many DJs or wannabes and less jobs.

Let's get back on the subject. The first few pictures looks like an old abandon school...... Also would be a great place to film a horror movie... it's actually the abandoned Philadelphia State Hospital a.k.a. Byberry. The hospital is currently being demolished to make way for a 55+ community, office space, and open space . And yes, it would be a perfect location for a horror movie.

What a shame, that building looks like it's well over 100 years old.
I was very upset, when they tor down my old middle and high schools to modernize them, which they are pretty much doing to every school around here thats over 40 years old. I have video footage of them tearing down my old high school. I'll some how convert some pictures and post them...

was it lake worth high? i think i may remember seeing that progress a couple of years back, i'd be interested in the pics you have of that. i actually have pics of them tearing down my old high school as well, and i was upset also, they are just about getting ready to tear down my old middle school soon too. i like how up north and whatnot they dont demolish old buildings and schools, instead just refurbish them it seems like.

Down south, though, I see a lot of old buildings that have never been remodeled. Up north almost every building is remodeled every couple years, so all the cool old fans are lost.

yeah fan-wise its cool to walk into any retro building, theres this old small engine repair shop by me that has some old wing tat industrials that you can see through the window, im gonna try to go in there one day and check for sure. ive noticed most of the k-marts down here that are still open have that same 80's retro look to them on the inside and out as well, even the same 80s logo on some.

Lake Worth High was one, that was quite a few years ago, my cousins back in 1997 went there and I remember they were remodeling. The school is so old they decided to keep the original buildings...

Unfortunately to many DJs or wannabes and less jobs. I agree on that too, it seems like west palm wants to close all its good club-type places and just make it more appealing to rich older people now, such a shame.

Yeah, during our senior year, next year, they are going to tear down our high school to rebuild... It has 4 nutone industrials in bad condition, one airmaster industrial, and two hunter custom home's, i tried to ask, but it is to early to get them... I can't believe they are going to ruin our senior year for this... and we are never going to set foot in the new one

In my high school, there are only two fans that I know of. There is a brown industrial in the auto shop, and I saw a flash of this really dirty 42" white & polished brass dual mount fan. Also, the classrooms aren't air conditioned so each classroom has at least 2 fans. They are all 80's and up models of various sorts, ranging from box fans, standing fans, table fans (mostly), to tower fans.

If they are the 4 blade Nutones, definitely try to get them.
