That would be awesome if you got it; Audis are definitely very nice cars, especially the A8. I drive a Ford Taurus, so I would take an Audi any day. ;D

I have not posted on this site in probably a year or so. Now I have a little extra time on my hands so I figured I may as well start posting again and I figured this topic was as good as any to start! Cars are a passion as ceiling fans are to me as well. Here is my list of cars I have owned in order.
1996 Saturn SL2 White on two-tone tan/black leather. 5speed.
1998 Volkswagen Jetta GLX V6 black on black leather. automatic
1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS silver pearl on gray leather 5speed
2003 Nissan 350Z Touring w/Navigation silver on gray leather 6speed
Currently have and love dearly 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS in Chrome blue metallic on two tone blue/black leather and black top. 5speed.
Yes I did trade a 350Z for an eclipse, no I am not crazy...lol. The Z was too expensive to insure, could not drive it in the rain, only two seater, guzzled gas, expensive to repair and maintain, rode horribly, and was not a convertible. The eclipse is less bad-ass and it is slower, but rides like a Benz (I know its who I have worked for for 3 years), gets 31mpg highway, and the top drops. And there are only 70 other Spyders in the US in my color. SO dont make fun of me too fast!

I drive a 1987 Audi 4000CS Quattro. More info here: www.audiworld.com/model/4000/87-4000.shtmlFor those of you that don't know, this model (made in 1985, 1986, and 1987) is reputed to be Audi's finest automobile ever made. Her name is Eula. She has a 2.22L, in-line 5-cylinder engine, controlled by a 5-speed manual transmission. She has a lot of features which were advanced for 1987--defogging side mirrors and all-wheel drive, for example. She also has cool stuff like heated seats, air conditioning, a 2-way power sunroof, power locks, power windows, wood trim, leather appointments, painted matching rims, Quattro-script interior, rear spoiler, lockable center and rear differentials, the most comfortable seats EVER (thanks to the multiple layers of variable-firmness foam), et cetera. She has 137,884 miles on her and is going strong as new. The previous owner (the only previous owner) took really good care of her--no deferred maintenance, not even one missed oil change. I put in a full Sony Xpold (pronounced "explode") stereo system: DECK: CDX-GT51W AM/FM/CD stereo deck, 208 watts HIGH-RANGE: XS-W3521 3.5" 2-way speakers (for dashboard) MID-RANGE: XS-R1341 5.25" 4-way speakers (for rear seats) LOW-RANGE: XS-L12OP5W 12" subwoofer, 1200 watts (for trunk) XM-1652Z 1000-watt 2/1-channel amplifier (for sub) Gets 18 MPG city/22 MPG highway. SCHEDULED MODS: Replace crappy stock headlights (9004) with euro Hella headlights (H1/H4). My car:

I have a 1999 Navy Blue Chevy Camaro, V6. It's a nice ride.
Previously, I had a mint-condition 1986 Black Camaro, and a 1998 Black Camaro. Yeah, I like the Camaros.
Pretty excited about the new ones coming out in '09.

I think Camaros are the only two door cars i would ever get, i like the more square-ish looking ones from the 80s most. i just recently got an 83 Chevy Caprice Classic, good condition overall but still needs some finishing touches.

Okay, well, I'm selling the Subaru... (a) so I have some more money to put into my business (b) so that I can afford the insurance (c) so that I can have a more fuel efficient car (d) so that I can have a diesel (e) so that I can have a car I actually like It's on eBay, here: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160131720190That said, I obviously still need a car...so, wanting something (a) that I enjoy, (b) is a fuel-efficient and reliable diesel, (c) is stick-shift, and (d) I want to own, I went on eBay and got a 1983 Mercedes 240D. Here be some pictures of my new beauty: 105,209 miles on it (LOW for a diesel), 2.4L 4-cylinder diesel, 4-speed stick, factory sunroof, factory A/C (blows cold), cruise control, original stereo, etc. Had one owner--an older German couple. Funny, they kept ALL the paperwork.

The Subaru sold, for $12,500. It looks so naked without its bumper stickers! The new owner will be here tomorrow to pick it up. The Jeep is now also for sale, for five reasons (I sell all my cars for five reasons): (A) I don't use it any more (B) For a work vehicle, I'd rather have a light-duty pickup (read: 1991-1996 Dodge Dakota sport-edition [prefer the headlights]). (C) I can't drive two vehicles down to North Carolina--it's physically impossible (D) Saves $$$ on insurance (E) I need a way to get from Virginia up to New Jersey so that I can pick up the Mercedes. So I'm selling the Jeep and stipulating (read the auction) that it MUST be picked up in Gladstone, NJ (which is where the Benz is). So I'll drive the Jeep up there, hand it off to its new owner, and drive back home in my new Benz. Brilliant, eh? The Jeep: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160133132606
