The blades on the third one are NOT original. I've seen several of those fans... the spotlights are built in. The original brackets to these fans are similar to 1970's/80's Hunter Original brackets ("macaroni" brackets, perhaps?), and the blades are square tipped. I always found the "screen" sideband kind of odd. The ones I saw were red and had five blades.

The ones you are thinking of, the five blade version, were made by Encon (or whoever made Encon) for Spiegel catalog. Spiegel sold relabeled Encons and Minka Aires if I remember correctly. It did indeed have the horshoe blade irons with flat tips, however I believe the motor housing was thinner than this one. The four blade version was sold at Target in the late 80s and early 80s, I believe it was made by Hasley. It was offered in black and brass and white and brass. That's what Adam's had. I could have sworn the blade brackets would have been brass, but it's been at least 10 years.

I am taking a wild and random guess that #3 is an SMC.

That fan is definitely not a landmark. My great grandmom lives in palm coast and she has two of those fans in her house. I would know if they were landmarks or not. Plus, the vents are different.

I would know if they were landmarks or not. Plus, the vents are different. The thing about these import fans is they're so similar and made by the same few companies so unless they're labeled or have any really distinctive features, they are extremely difficult to identify, and it rarely matters.

I really like the fan listed as #1. It reminds me of a Global fan because of the canopy. Adam, can you get one of these?
