any of you seen a copper/bright brass model? Yes. In the late 1970s, when Emerson invented the blenderfan Emerson was making blenderfans before the late 70s. Everything you found sounds really cool. I've heard plenty of stories of these NOS fan stores with warehouses full (of Taras, even) but I've never seen one before. I would be interested in any K63 Casablancas or Emersons, bell canopy Homesteads, ornate Fascos, Adaptaires, Panasonics like yours, ornate Crompton Greaves Encons, Friction Drive Nutones and of course Taras. Ask them if they are familiar with the I-Fan. And, I'd love to see scans or pictures of any fans or literature you find.

This is the forum for ceiling fans that have not been identified. You've determined this fan is a Panasonic. Thread closed.
Just kidding.

UPDATE!!
ONE OF THESE PANASONICS HAS BEEN FOUND!!![/color]
It is in antique brass, with cherry (wood) blades. Model F5210CH (CH = cherry blades; my original ones were F5210WH, white blades).
Kudos to Sean B. for finding it on the San Francisco craigslist.
They have taken the ad down from CL. The fan is on its way to me via UPS as of tomorrow morning.
Sean now gets to take whatever he wants from my current collection: * 52" Emerson 1895 Series -- brown/bright brass, 4 speed, 4 cane walnut blades * 52" Emerson 1895 Series -- antique brass, 4-speed, 4 plain cherry blades * 52" Emerson 1895 Series -- gloss white, 3-speed, 4 white blades * 52" Emerson kitchenfan -- brown, 3-speed, 4 plain walnut blades * 52" Lasko (Sears) TOC -- antique brass, variable-speed, 4 plain oak blades, big Lasko 5-lite kit w/ Lasko glass * 52" FASCO Charleston -- antique white/bright brass, 1st-gen, 3-speed, 4 white blades * 52" FASCO Charleston -- bright brass, 1st-gen, 3-speed, 4 plain walnut blades * 52" Panasonic F5225 -- antique brass, 3-speed, 4 plain walnut blades, 4-arm light kit w/ glass * 52" Casablanca Victorian -- antique brass, K63, non-SQ variable-speed, 4 cane walnut blades (B15C), w/ 5-lite kit + Casablanca Vianne glass * 52" Robbins & Myers (Hunter) Original -- white, shaded-pole, 2-converted-to-3-speed, 4 white blades
Do YOU want to be the next to have the right to take anything and everything from my collection? Find me a Panasonic F5210-series ceiling fan!

Good for you Pierce!!! Je suis content pour toi. So you do prefer the PB one with white blades? Because I do. You really have a nice collection of high quality fans. San Francisco is really on the complete other side of the country. Ouff. We can really say: West to East.

So you do prefer the PB one with white blades? I won't know until I see what the antique brass one with wood blades looks like (the CL seller didn't have pictures or a digital camera). But I'm pretty sure I'll always like my original kind -- brass with white blades -- the best.

well sense you got it now,i'll still will keep on search for one so you get more than 1 in your collection and/or dan will take it sense dan wants one too(the one if i do find it) Thanks. As soon as it arrives -- which may take a few days, seeing as how it's coming from the California cost all the way across the nation to North Carolina -- I'll post a bunch of photos. I'm very curious to see inside it. This is part of an email from the seller, in response to the photo I sent her of my old bright brass one: "The picture you sent to me is definately the same type of fan except that brass is really shiny , this one is a darker antiqued brass color and really pretty cherry blades and they are solid wood too . I would assume this was quite an expensive fan in its day. To me , it seems to be "overbuilt" ,if that is the correct term. The black motor inside the casing is humongous and HEAVY. I saw the posting you sent me and the blade holders are the same and cover the entire portion on the bottom half of the motor . Even the blade holders are solid and heavy too." I'm very curious to open up the housing and get real up-close-and-personal with this fan. Photos to follow as soon as the fan arrives.
