Its possible, I'd have to see it to really tell. It may look too industrial for some people. I think 4 blades would be better.

Weird fan #9: Hunter builder elite ceiling fan. This is just about the FUGLIEST builder can known to man... Hmm, maybe I should make a epic FAILURE thread. I mean look at how mismatched it is. It looks like a FRICKEN TURD!!! Aaaaannnnnnddddd the performance is subpar even for its class of fan, at around 4900 CFM. PATHETIC... Pics coming later.

Yuck! I don't see what's "weird" about this one though, as Hunter has been producing this kind of garbage for over two years now...

The oddity in this atrocity derives from its turdlike appearance, mainly because everything with the exceptions being the canopy and motor housing. They should have at least put some square tip blades and crescent moon brackets on there!

Assuming its 52", 4,900 CFM isn't bad for a builder fan... I don't care for this all that much but I don't think its quite as bad as units like "The Shower Fan" etc.. I think this thread needs to be called "Ugly fans" instead, because I'll agree with Max here, I don't see much of anything weird about this fan, just hideous.

Weird fan #10: Minka aire Xtreme. Your typical underpowered 96" fan with like 9 blades (did not count nor pay any attention to whatsoever), a tiny dc motor, ugly, and moves "only" 10,500 CFMs. Attachment Deleted

Run it with 3 blades and I bet you get more than 10,500 CFM out of it...

As you can see, this thread has been reborn as "Weird, Atrocious Fans Compilation: MOAR!". Anyhow, Atrocity #11: Casablanca Verse ceiling fan. The thing is not necessarily an oddball, per se, but it is just ugly to me. C'mon, Casablanca, if you are going to do something this industrialesque, then just manufacture a fricken Emerson loft competitor. BTW the loft is the plastic blade non-industrial compliant heat fan, essentially. But this thing does move some damn good air,so I do have to give some kudos to " casablunter", "hunteerblanca", whatchamacallit. BTW, minka's concept just does it better.

The Verse really doesn't show any design creativity... Looks like another Hampton Bay fan... Oval blades, round body.
If Casablanca really cared about design, They would've taken this a step farther and make it unique and interesting.
I feel like Casablanca is just gonna get consumed by Hunter kinda like what happened to Homestead when it faded out.

I feel like Casablanca is just gonna get consumed by Hunter kinda like what happened to Homestead when it faded out. When that happens, someone on here needs to buy the rights to the Casablanca name and revive the company

I feel like Casablanca is just gonna get consumed by Hunter kinda like what happened to Homestead when it faded out. When that happens, someone on here needs to buy the rights to the Casablanca name and revive the company Since you are so passionate about hunter turning Casablanca into Casablunter/Hunterblanca, why don't you ? Okay, I've resurrected Mr. Joe Serious in me, so I think Casablanca will stay around for a while longer so that hunter can feed off their reputation, and when people come around and realize today's Casablanca is quite dissimilar to Casablanca of 1990, then hunter will probably terminate and annihilate the firm altogether. And Emerson and Fanimation, all the while, will still be manufacturing Fans as good as pre-21st century Emerson and Fanimation. The two reigning champions of the ceiling fan world. What would be cool, however, is if Emerson and Fanimation would become one company, as both companies' Fans are just as good, but Emerson has Fans more similar (not identical, mind you) to Casablancas, their fans, and homesteads back in the day and still preserves the quality, whereas fanimation's Fans are more exotic, and Fanimation is also similar to what casa used to be, with all the museums and amenities they have, and all of those opulent collectors items they sell. If they became one company, then that would be amazing!
