I want to say these are from the late 1980s.. Yes, the basic design itself originated in 1986 with Sonneman Design and was subsequently licensed to Homestead. The WIND II existed all the way into the era in which Casablanca bought out Homestead and sold all of their excess stock.

This is basically a compilation of the odds and ends I've gotten over the past month or so. Also have a set of four Casa blades with the logo printed on the tips on the way. W-11 switch. It was the one with "cut wires and pink paint" on eBay awhile back if anybody saw it. Took a gamble for like $14 and it worked great after putting in some new wires. Nice haul of Casablanca blades. First I grabbed the cane ones, then later on I got the other two sets. Both of those were supposed to be stencil but one set is not. And finally the best of everything IMO. I got the Panama 5 mirror I've wanted since I saw the first one on eBay a few years back. Was someone here watching it too? I've been sitting on it for a few months waiting to see if the price would go down, but eventually just put in a best offer and they took it. Somehow it survived a tragic packing job, true miracle but I couldn't be happier. With all of its companions:

I've got a set of blades of a black Casablanca Zephyr I got back in the late 1990s out of an old house that I used for my old Chadwick-Miller that has the Casablanca label on the tips.
That set of cane would be perfect for the Casablanca that I just got
I wonder how old that Panama 5 mirror is?

I love those logo blade sets, I've been looking for a set literally for ages.
That's my first set of Casablanca cane, main reason I bought them just to have a set on hand.
I can't imagine it being much later than early to mid 1980s. I don't know that they would've made them available right away without knowing if the model was going to sell though, probably came a bit after the fans were introduced?

The Casablanca blades with stencil would look perfect on a polished brass Zephyr. With this kind of finish they look like they would be from at least 1983 or newer. Where did you got them from?
I noticed that your gallery image count is exactly at 430 pictures and you only have one sightings picture. How do you manage to keep 430 ceiling and portable fans? Do you have a storage space outside the house?

Everything in that post is from eBay. I've been nabbing a lot of stuff practically the second it's listed lately just because the deals are too good to pass up. The wood finishes sets are pretty ancient, the boxes have the older logo printed on them, the one with four arched tip blades in the shape of a cross.
Most of the portable fans are in my grandparent's basement. I'm gonna have to deal with that issue eventually because I'm thinking they might be getting to the point of downsizing soon. A few ceiling fans are there too but I predominantly keep those here. Some of those fans I uploaded are ones I've sold or gotten rid of, but I suppose what I've gotten has evened that out again. I can't even really believe I have that many, it doesn't seem like I have that many sitting around. I do need to downsize a bit again on ceiling fans coming up, need to remove some lower-end stuff and such.

My logo-tip blades came in today, they came with a set of AB brackets. Between these and the Panama 5 mirror my life feels so complete this week lol, both of them are things I've wanted to find for a very long time.

Are they pretty slim or thicker like newer blades? Are you gonna keep all the Commander Angels?

I didnt know you wanted a set! Haven't been very vocal about it. A lot of things like this aren't a big priority but I will grab them when I see them. On the pictures it almost looks like a printed wood finish. Are they pretty slim or thicker like newer blades? Are you gonna keep all the Commander Angels? The non-stencil set is kind of strange. It looks kinda fake but it's not, they're definitely solid and pretty heavy. The cane set is thicker, the others are thinner like most of Casablanca's earlier mainstream blade sets. I won't have Commanders up for grabs, at least not yet. I need to deal with more pressing things first when I get a minute to do something about it. I haven't forgotten you're one of the first in line though.

This is basically amassed over the last month again, but most of it more recent. Chrome Quorum light kit. Was super cheap so I thought it was worth grabbing: NIB PB Casablanca LCA. Again, cheap and nice to have on hand: Casablanca lapel pin. It is super tiny! Casablanca Spirit of Saturn glass paperweight. Did not know this existed until I found this one. I LOVE it: Christian's "Laurel's Ceiling Fan" which is basically a NuTone Decorator with older mounting and a Hacienda upper housing: And by far the best find today at Habitat, a NIB Hunter Oceanus. A large area of the box is very stained with some light oil but it didn't soak through thankfully. One of the most annoying fans I've ever assembled, but it's pretty sweet. It wobbles a decent amount, I guess that pretty much comes with anything that has plastic blades, but I did temporarily balance it better so I can make a decent video.

I like the faux Nutone quite a bit. Me too... definitely the same parent company as Hall Mark. These have blades wider than those on an Original and fairly good pitch and RPM.
