Here are the latest finds from the past month, 1st batch all came from the same habitat which is closer to Charlie E, so when i go chill with him once in a long while now it seems anymore I usually stop in there, they had a new year sale with half off all appliances. Walked off with these 4 fans for about $50 total. This is the best habitat in my reigon that takes good care of the fans they sell. All fans are placed in boxes with all hardware placed in plastic bags. 1st fan is a sweet little 29" Homestead Universal. 100% complete it had a 3 light turtle fitter on it with those gaudy tulip shades. I only like those shades on a select few fans. This one cost me the most of the bunch since it had the light. 2nd fan is a nice Casablanca Panama 5 100% complete. 3rd fan is a Satellite Caribbean Breeze variant, this fan is practically brand new in its packaging but it had no box. This fan reeks of mildew so you can probably imagine the fate of the box. 4th fan is a Marble/brass Fasco American Spirit. Also 100% complete, The second and more recent finds are: Yet another Verandah Deluxe. For only $15 I couldn't say no. Missing the typical hardware though.... and last but not least a pair of D.E.M.C. industrials, one brown, and the other white. I have both regulators for them however the cover for the white one is missing the cover. Powerful as all hell though. Its like standing in front of a Lakewood P-23. The downrod on the white one is plastic, and the brown fan has a metal downrod with a rubberized coating on it. Pretty interesting since they were made only a few months apart.

I think you already know, I want the Homestead, the Nutone, and the two Industrials. Valentines Day is coming up, perfect time to get me a gift!

Nice finds.. More of those D.E.M.C metal bladed fans there, glad you have the controls, and DB in color seems to be far less common.. NuTone Verandah Deluxe ceiling fans are always worth getting.. Like the Moss.. Those little metal bladed versions seemed to have been relabeled almost everything.. Mostly store labels I've seen.. Ive never seen a newer spinner version of the Homestead Universal, looks just as neat as the older ones, looks totally mid 1980s..

It's nice to see you here again.
I missed your last post. I love the older Fanimation Islander and the classic Casablanca Delta II. I love those blades tips.
Adam also has a gear driven fan like this and his is also missing the blades.
Usually original blades on Casablanca Panamas V are pointed tipped.
Awesome pair of DEMC of each color! I love the controllers on these. 4 Saisons used almost the same ones and they usually slow down +120 cm fans quite a lot. It's really weird and not very safe that one has a plastic extension pole.

$75 CL haul, a trio of brass Originals, Had to drive a 3 hour round trip to get these, but it was worth it. all parts are accounted for with the exception of 2 switch caps since those fans had lights on them from what I was told. The seller knew what he had and even said to the owners of the house they were installed in that they were wasting their money buying fans to replace these. The fans are in 3 consecutive years: 1980, 81, and 82. Fan #1 from 1980, I have no clue is to what blade set went to which fan but this is the only set with the regular C-brackets. The rest are typical reverse-aire. This is the only fan to have its switch cap. Fan #2 from 1981, this fan has a pipe nipple as a downrod for some reason: Fan #3 from 1982, nothing out of the ordinary on this one. A habitat that I don't frequently go to had a plethora of NuTone lights, soon I will go back and get more. This weekends find is this cool Toastmaster spinner:

That habitat is about a 40 min drive for me and its only 15 mins away from charlie so when I go pair up with him that's when I typically go there. IDK when I'll be able to go up there maybe I'll push for next weekend.

Love the fans.. Would love to find another variable speed Toastmaster like that... That one looks to be in excellent condition.. One I had years ago was missing parts and ended up getting tossed out..

I need to get on here more often, but anyway Here are yet more finds from the past months. Yay, backlog. 38" Homestead Whisperfan III, a CL find. Unfortunately I do not have the original canopy or mounting bracket for it. Another CL haul yielded 3 brass Fanimation Islanders, 2 from 2000-1, the other from 2003-4 56" Dayton yet again from CL, practically useless since its 277v Got 2 Navajo white Casablanca Panamas from habitat, got the 5 blade one first, and I went back to get the 4 blade one, these will both need new electronics, missing their IT controls as well. NIB SMC Royal Flush U52 Thrift store find, The fan was actually missing the switch housing which I didn't realize, but I was able to find one to use for it. Also grabbed 2 more NuTone lights that I wanted, Also saved this derelict Evergo from scrap from a Habitat as well, If I can ever find new blades for it I'll restore it. Still works. Blades are painted over but it does have the seldom seen stencil blades. Grabbed this older 1988 Hunter Custom Home from habitat, it was sitting there for over a year and I finally took pity on it, was badly yellowed but cleaned up well. Also got this 1995 Hunter Studio Series in verde, NIB Satellite Baja series spinner from Habitat and a 1990 SMC U42 because, childhood fan More to come!
